Professor Thomas Gregory on the debate of war in the 21st century and challenges conventional beliefs about the ethics of warfare. Thomas Gregory is Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at the University of Auckland. He specialises in civilian casualties and the ethics of war. He has published in leading journals, including the European Journal of International Relations, Security Dialogue, Review of International Studies, and the European Journal of International Security. His co-edited book Emotions, Politics and War was published by Routledge in 2017. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
