Not going to lie, I watched and said "Steve D's a madman." Pulled the OCTGN file from FFDecks, fired up a game. First game, turn 3 kill, 7 forwards on board. Freaking nutty.
Very educational showcase. I’m definitely missing something, but to play Vayne, you discarded Cloud (2 Wind CP) + Hooded Man (2 Lightening CP) + dull Aldo (1 Lightning CP)= for 5 CP when Vayne needed 4. I would like to know why exactly. Around 28:50
Glad you enjoyed it! Answer to your question, I didn't really dull Aldo, I stand him back up again a few seconds later. I think I was just anticipating using the CP later in the turn. Eventually did warping another Golbez.
Been working on this ever since I saw the video. Coming closer to a build I like. Still testing cards. The rydia that gets you free summons and the 5drop lightning wind golbez are strong additions.
I found it really hard to juggle Earth as an additional element, but love it in theory. Such a fun deck to play! Lately I've learned more on the aggressive end of the scale, with Kunshira and O18 Gilgamesh.
I'm very new to the game, so sorry for that question but...how can you bring cagnazzo onto the field, if you have no ice crystal in that deck? Is it possible just because of the golbez card? If so, there is a high chance, that you have to wait very long, if you dont get golbez on your hand, right?
Nice deck, looks like loads of fun! 🙂 Minor detail I stumbled upon: not sure how you'd warp Golbez at 19:10 on curve. His warp cost is 1 Lightning, 2 any. Wouldn't the Selkie discard just pay the 1 Lightning? Still, discarding 2 for him is not a big deal with such draw power, I guess 😉
Discarding Selkie gains 2 lightning CP and dulling Norsch gains 1 wind. That meets the requirement of having at least 1 lightning and then 2 of any other color.
This is legal, as has been highlighted. Otherwise, you couldn't discard a single card to crack Diepvern, etc, which you can. Good question though. You don't see this cost much!
Re: cloud I feel that the new cid highwind is meant to be thr specific "double cast" support for the new cloud. Have you tried him out yet? I, unfortunately, just think its not enough (with him being bryn sized it dont help) and with storm being so unsuited to lightning stuff
Can you please elaborate why are you so excited about Scarmiglione and call it a wipe when it can (word can is key here, as you have to choose element) deal only 8K? Am I missing something here?
Scarmi can hit two units for 8k for only one card, and if your opponent's card doesn't die your normally weak barb can **usually** finish whatever is left.
@@Paandaas It can also hit 8k+4k, which is far from anything worth calling a wipe. I am not saying it is a bad deal, but it struck me how it was refered as strong wipe and I was wondering I was missing something.
is there a reason why you are not playing the cost6 rubicante instead? I just thought that cheating things into play would be better for early game if you can have some form of wall or is it simple because asura can grab it?

Oh you're cooking with this one, my word

Been waiting for this decklist 👌
Hope it lives up to your expectations! :)
Oh this is one that I've actually been looking at and thinking about playing
Honestly very interesting, and surprisingly competitive.
@@YunaYoungTeam I also realized that I actually have like 30 out of the 50 cards already so... Maybe I will build it
I was building a deck like unto this one. I really like the asura tech. Didn't think about that one.
Golbez is my favorite legend of the set so far, just for sheer fun factor.
I feel like Gramis came back a bit in opus 14 when al cid got printed, but he still had aldo to compete with there, being less versatile
Pretty much only ever played Aldo in that deck because of Zeromus too.

Yup, I got that one mixed up, thx for clarifying! 👍

He's decent with Pod, if anyone's still playing that. That's about all I can say!
Too fairly costed, but he'd be toxic if he just said Dull.

8k two separate things for a single card is pretty nuts, given how easy it is to line up.

Mostly it just sucks.
It's much easier for 2CP Rubi to interact with our opponents' board on our terms.
@@YunaYoungTeam ah now I understand, thank you
