That's amazing! And so relatable 😆 I've had many people asking me why I wear heals if I "can't walk in them" my response is always that I can't walk in any shoes, I'll be tripping and falling either way, so it doesn't make a difference if I wear fabulous shoes!
Ahhhh I love accessible things that are actually fashionable! So excited to be a customer; please make adorable compression socks to go with your shoes!! I’d be a customer for life!
Yay for comfy, practical footwear that's also cute! 😊 I will have to check these out if/ when I decide to invest in some new non-casual shoes (I mostly live in sneakers & sandals).
Omg… this is the pairing I have been waiting and wishing for. I was just thinking, a few months ago, that you and American Duchess would make a great pairing. I feel psychic today. Now, should I go get some lottery tickets?
These are great! I am so happy you found a way to get shoes that work for you! As a fellow person with a disability, I’m constantly on the same quest, but for the opposite features! I have no muscles in calves or feet, so my ankles are fused at about a 90 degree angle with very little give and are a size 4 extra wide but short from toe to heel. I hope someday as tech and maybe 3D printing get better all of us can have access to a designer who can help make healthy, pretty (not orthopedic) shoes a reality!
I’m not disabled but I do understand the extra wide foot struggle I’m a 7 1/2 extra wide so I have to search everywhere for anything in wide width let alone extra wide sadly I can only find orthopedic sandals and sneakers in that size shoe companies really need to learn that not everybody has the same foot shape right now I’m stuck getting size 9 if I don’t want my feet to fall off
@@hollymcgrew4853 hi, i don't know if my advice is appropriate, but did you try genuine leather shoes? they are so bendy and accommodate to your feet really well, replicating the shape of your foot, they also stretch quite a lot and can get extra wide with some wear. I get mine second hand, so pre-worn, and they're literally my saving grace (I don't have wide feet, but super sensitive ones and i've had blisters literally on every centimeter of them, when the shoes are even slightly stiff)
All the time I watch some of this videos I just can't resist to smile and nod. It's so comforting to know I'm not the only person that should wear high heels or beautiful shoes all the time and can't resist.
Yessss I can't wait to try these when they come out!! I felt so seen when you said "do your feet suck?" PLEASE give me feminine, beautiful, classy shoes for my suky feet!
These might be the first heels I can actually walk in! My last attempt was in 2009 on turf and I almost ate it, those little rubber crumbles really get stuck in crevasses.
Oh my goodness! I often get looks for wearing heels while using a cane, pretty shoes are wonderful but finding one's that are just sensible enough... oh lord. I will be purchasing some the moment I can afford!
I’ve seen if one wear heels all the time you shorten the back side of one’s foot but since it’s already hard enough it’s a pretty heel to make the day better ❤
EDS if I’m remembering correctly is Excessive Daytime Sleepiness for anyone wondering. (Though, if I am wrong, please tell me and I’ll remove the comment or edit it :>)
I am in love! I hate wearing tennis shoes, so I always wear flats, but they get so boring. I always want the pretty heals, but they hurt too much. I'm so excited, they're gorgeous 😍
My right foot is kinda malformed (shortended middle foot bone, my doctor said it's due to my Ullrich-Turner's syndrome), that's why my fourth toe sticks out in a weird angle and is shorter than it should be, that's why I can't wear shoes that are open on the top - the rim of the shoe would always press on my fourth toe and make it bloody and painful. That's why I always wear either sneakers, boots, or sandals that don't touch my weird toe at all. There would be a possibility of correcting my toe surgically by sawing the shortened bone apart and and lenghten it with some steel parts inside of my foot, but there's a considerable risk that the blood supply wouldn't be enough and my toe might just turn black and die after the surgery.
I wish these accommodated my body. I get the worst leg pain wearing even the slightest of heels (and even your flats in the shop still have a small heel that would be too high) 😞 the heels are so so pretty though.
I tore the ligament in my left ankle falling off a horse and whacking my ankle against a ground pole. Almost had to have surgery for it and was stuck in a wheel chair with 3 months of physical therapy
Jessica is how I got my kid diagnosed with EDS. It’s my genetics. I have it too but I’m old and doctors don’t care. It’s fine. But now this is how I find out I have something called foot drop as well?! lol I’ll just add it to the list.
I'm young, and my feet are weak as well. Because of a mistake a medical professional made, my right ankle's muscles have always been deformed. No matter what I do, I'm always spraining it. I fear if this goes on, I'll start to develop more permanent consequences. Seeing you open about this really raises my confidence that everything will be ok.
Does it help you at all to wear ankle wraps that have a sort of bungee cord to clip to the top of your shoe? I’ve been considering them (and they could be really cute with some added beads and lace), but I haven’t seen much about them yet. Thanks for posting!
That’s interesting my sister has foot drop too and she has to get special leg braces for it, I’ve got benign joint hypermobility syndrome from the same gene that causes EDS 😅 it’s……. Well my ribs don’t like to stay in socket anymore and neither does anything else including my back thumbs feet bones and fingers among others. So foot pain and good shoes I totally get.
was not expecting to check off another symptom for eds today. i will like the skin is to small for my feet if i've been sitting/laying down for a while.
A lot of folks with EDS also have POTS, so the blood pools in our feet and they swell, which can hurt. I use compression socks to help with it, they make such a difference!
Do they come in a wide fit? I have EDS as well, with extremely loose feet and ankles, so a lot of shoes aren't comfortable for me. But I also have very wide feet as I've gotten older, so finding any shoes at all has become near impossible.
I tore the ligament in my right foot going down two steps somehow and the hospital sent me home with an ace bandage and no crutches while also expecting me to stay off it... how if I don't have crutches?! It happened on my fiancé's birthday at that. My foot is still messed up because I couldn't stay off it. It took over a year for me to walk without pain and it's been 3 years now and it still hurts if I walk too much which is hard to avoid.
Do they help with the foot dragging issue? I do that as well and it means my shoes get holes in the soles way too fast, they should be able to last way longer if it weren't for that
I walk like that too, I suspect ots my autism showing in subtle ways, tounded platforms make me fee like a wonderful walker! Doesn't work for everyone but gosh! Does that work for me!
I just wish cute shoes came in wide sizes more frequently. I'm 6 ft tall and wear 11 wides (us sizing) and it's nearly impossible to find shoes that don't look like ugly grandma boats.
Over the past few years I've been plagued by foot issues. Cysts, a bunion, flat feet, everything is a bit torturous. I get to wear orthopedic shoes everywhere
Unfortunately, my feet suck for different reasons and I struggle to find shoes that fit. Your shoes look perfectly lovely, but I'm afraid I can't risk mail-ordering shoes because I have to return 90% of them and that's not sustainable.
I was like “yeah! I have all those issues with my feet. Ohh- another source signaling I probably should get checked for eds..” Welp guess I really will be bringing it up to my doctor..
PLEASE MAKE THEM IN SIZE 14 WOMENS!! My feet suck, I have EDS AND huge feet! I have THE WORST bunions BECAUSE SHOES!.. oh good gravy, I'm going to.cry...I can't breathe.
I am disabled too. I have schizophrenia. And people hate me to talk about hallucinations. They reject me. This illness causes me to lose my intellect. I have to conceal my illness at work because you can*t teach when you have this diagnosis
I want your shoes so bad. Also remembering that you have disabilities and would have worked with American Duchess with that to make them comfy makes me love them more (Edit: To clarify, I didn't forget you were disabled, I forgot that would be taken into account, because AD is a good brand who works to design their products with their collaborators, not just pays some youtubers to let them slap their name on shoes.)
From one disabled person to another, thank you so much for raising awareness and making our lives a little less painful one step at a time 💕
I see what you did there
@@Never.seen-before.name- I do love a good pun
She taught me so much about disabilities
Ditto! ❤👩🦼❤
" I might as well look pretty when I fall over" that's so real
If the shoe fits, get it in every color!
Ok 🤣💜
AMEN TO THAT!!! 🙏 🤲 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅
That's amazing!

“Oh, hello darling! Do your feet suck?”
Helppp I was so taken aback😂😂
Oh my gosh, your fashion sense merged with the impeccable designs at American Duchess, my budget can't handle it!
Love those shoes with the little strap over your feet. I always seem to lose my shoes unless I have straps or shoelaces
My ankles don’t even let shoes stay on without straps or laces, always lovely to find good and pretty ones.
The style of shoes is called Mary Janes if you want to buy them
Yay for comfy, practical footwear that's also cute! 😊 I will have to check these out if/ when I decide to invest in some new non-casual shoes (I mostly live in sneakers & sandals).
Take my money!
Omg… this is the pairing I have been waiting and wishing for. I was just thinking, a few months ago, that you and American Duchess would make a great pairing. I feel psychic today. Now, should I go get some lottery tickets?
One perk of wheelchairs is you can wear whatever fabolous shoes you want without having to worry about the discomfort of actually walking in them
Literally stunning!!!

The gasp I gasped when you released a collaboration with American Duchess! Omg that's amazing!
My joints suck and the idea of you making shoes makes happy and hopeful
I have a peripheral neurropathy and myy feet are STRUGGGLING. This is exciting ❤
They're beautiful 😍 and this was the cutest ad!
Theyre all so pretty!!!!
Mine are too bloody wide so I almost exclusively wear crocs to accommodate the width
Another fantastic American Duchess collab!
you make me so happy :)
They're all so beautiful!

I love you talking about those cool shoes!
As someone else with eds and flat feet that do suck i can’t tell you how excited i am lol. Thanks for all your hard work :))
I have h-EDS and hearing that from someone I enjoy watching makes me quite happy :))
OoOoOo.... more clothes, shoes, appliances and supports made by the people who use them, thx! This is awesome.
THOSE ARE SO CUUUUTE

They look beautiful!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ i love you and claudia and the baby wishing you the best!!!! Definitely gonna get some my wide feet hate most shoes
I’m SO happy for you!! ❤
They're beautiful!!
my first thought was that my grandma would love these but that also feels kind of rude to say, lmao. but it's true, she would, lmao, they're adorable
lol… keep going… all of us with Fabulous Granmas who adore and support us more than parents or partners…
This is a pairing we like very very much!
Please tell me where you get your outfits!
You have the perfect look
Oh my goodness! I often get looks for wearing heels while using a cane, pretty shoes are wonderful but finding one's that are just sensible enough... oh lord. I will be purchasing some the moment I can afford!
maybe it's time to rethink my strategy of wearing hiking boots every day. These are adorable.
The burgundy/wine ones ❤
Such beautiful shoes!
I wish I could wear these 🥲🥲🥲 they’re beautiful.
I’ve seen if one wear heels all the time you shorten the back side of one’s foot but since it’s already hard enough it’s a pretty heel to make the day better ❤
The burgundy ones are dreamy.
l want both in every colour!

your shoes are beautiful so make a slipper line too! they will be awesome and pretty!
Pre-ordered the Jessies in white for my wedding!
Ohhh congratulations 💖
🎉 what!!!! Omgs yes!!!!
So pretty 😍 wish I had duchess money for that 😂
Its very funny that this gets recommended a few hours after i hurt my ankle twice trying to do a toe loop (im a figure skater)
I like these shoes abd dresa
I wish these accommodated my body. I get the worst leg pain wearing even the slightest of heels (and even your flats in the shop still have a small heel that would be too high) 😞 the heels are so so pretty though.

Im a size 5-5 1/2 (UK) but i have wide feet so i have to wear size 6-7 (UK). I can rarely wear flats because it rubs on my ankles and cause blisters.

Broke my foot folding laundry. I know. There were questions at emergency. Having all the problems is a problem.
Awesome❤️🔥
Yeah I’m all too familiar with falling. Fun(ish) fact: I have calluses on both knees from scraping my knees so much as a kid. I’m dyspaxic btw
Gravity is cruel to we hairless bipeds.
That’s interesting my sister has foot drop too and she has to get special leg braces for it, I’ve got benign joint hypermobility syndrome from the same gene that causes EDS 😅 it’s……. I like shoes and dress
Are they going to offered in a wide size a well? Cause those are super cute!
Yes!

Im so sad because the size range stops 1 size short of what i need...
Otherwise id buy one of everything😮

Being disabled has never looked so… ✨ fabulous ✨
You know Jessica you help me a lot because i found betterhelp thanks to you. I hope they will find a therapist for me.
Marfan syndrome makes my connective tissue too floppy so over time my feet have become flat as heck. Will any of the flats have arch support?
Do they help with the foot dragging issue? I do that as well and it means my shoes get holes in the soles way too fast, they should be able to last way longer if it weren't for that

I’m not a shoe person, but I technically was never able to be with lots of feet and leg issues. Those are pretty.
I have a question: If my feet drag across the floor, but I'm just walking normally, what did I do😂
Do they come in size wide?
❤❤
I just wish cute shoes came in wide sizes more frequently. I'm 6 ft tall and wear 11 wides (us sizing) and it's nearly impossible to find shoes that don't look like ugly grandma boats.
What the heck! American Granmas don’t adore and support you? That’s a second discriminatory comment.
My feet and ankles are not very stable so I rarely wear heels. My feet hurt enough without them. This has my interest peeked though 🤔
😍😍😍😍
My favorite shoe makers and my favorite disabled queer youtuber! It's a magical combination.
Are they foot shaped/ with a wider toe box? 🧐

I think they do. The sizing is on another clip.
@@DB-sc2hg I just saw that video and they do carry a 13! Hooray!
