I love The Price is Right
It's great seeing past price is right episodes. I was only 12 at the moment of this taping of this episode. Dennis James was a great game show host. Still is a great game show today 👍. Thanks for posting.
So good! Love the early DJ episodes. Please post more!
Show #125-N.I love the production slates. It's like being in the studio on taping day!
Carol should've stuck with her first bid of $7000. She KNEW that Martha was over.
And on KTRK - ABC Channel 13 in Houston, TX Mondays at 18:30 from 1973 to 1979.
In case you was playing along in Any Number, the cost of the sailboat was 875, and the piggy bank, 9,43.
18:30 is military time for 6:30 PM
Where did you get all that information from, Paul? Are you sure those were the numbers (originally not seen on the show) in the correct spaces? I believe it.
Dennis James has the fastest mouth in the Gameshow West
And he wasn't kidding about moving the show "fast", and they sometimes do move fast, considering it was 1/2 hour at that time. Now that it's an hour, it somewhat does move fast, but some contestants do manage to take very long at certain points in the show (but later has it all edited, once that taping is done).
No $100 bonus back then for a perfect bid.
Carol sure is cute. I wonder what she looks like now?
22:31 GAME 0VER😢
If Martha had chosen zero instead of four as her last number, it would’ve been the very first time in the Dennis James era of the nighttime version to have an Any Number perfection because Dennis said that they never had any perfections on this pricing game since the debut of the Nighttime version series.
I noticed that both Bob Barker and Dennis James would go out into the audience when there was a double over I'd and no one won their showcase. Drew Carey does not do that.
mark lubiarz No,Drew just waves to everyone.
1st time I seen a DOB with Dennis.
There was also at least one 'Nighttime Price Is Right' with Tom Kennedy (1985-1986) that ended with a double overbid!
Me too! I've only known of Bob Barker and Tom Kennedy and I've seen Doug Davison and of course Drew Carey but never Dennis James hosting the Price of Right.
If you play in 2x speed: *Sonic* style in TPiR.
Martha did excellent. 😀👍
Also my guess for the Price of the following 2 One Bid Prizes would have been 1 of the following 5.
Grandfather Clock:
1: $760
2: $750
3: $675
4: $600
5: $550
Sofa Bed:
1: $616
2: $615
3: $600
4: $580
5: $550
@@markheying2830 Is that from October of 1975
Who's the hot model Bob would scold for wearing a fur coat as a prize for the contestant?
@Sammy Reed I'd totally seduce Dian in that fur coat and hold her while she keeps saying "You saved my wig..." and she keeps the wig on
You don’t recognize Dian as a brunette? I’m thinking it’s a wig. This was very early in her run with the show. Love Dian forever. 😊😊
@@der22672 Dian was yummier as a brunette; but she was a pretty delicious blonde too
Is Dian wearing a wig?
Yep and it couldn't possibly be hotter
Glad they dropped the furs, don't like them as coats anyway.
