I saw that coming and I laughed immediately
I’m impressed that Barry calculated the weight so fast 180 for each Barry & he quickly estimated Kara’s weight by feel.
And they say Iron Man learned from his mistakes.
This movie had some very cool

He really did, such a shame the rest of the movie sorta fell flat. I really did like Supergirl as well, this scene gave her a real feral feel that I thought was pretty stand out but tbh I went to this movie for Keaton alone lol

Excellent comment totally right. Batman is a total joke. The most unrealistic "super" "hero". Just like green arrow. When they are alone they are interesting. When other heroes are around they are unnecessary.

Could have been the greatest superhero film if they followed the flashpoint paradox more accurately and saved keaton for a batman beyond movie.
They could’ve still done it even with Michael Keaton.
Same, honestly I think the DCEU would've benefited more with the OG Flashpoint Paradox story considering it really feels like an Endgame type of story with all of the Justice League being present with altered roles, though at the same time I'm satisfied Michael Keaton was able to return and Sasha Calle got a shot as Supergirl even if only for a movie both

If you've noticed, the bomber jacket old Barry is wearing is basically the same as the one Bane wore in the finale of Dark Knight rises.
It’s called a “shearling coat”. Whether it’s a nod to Bane is a bit reaching.
They are kinda in style in part due to TDKR and Bladerunner 2049 etc.
When they made one for TDKR Bane they were not in style.
It supposedly took longer to make than the Batmobile.
If they had just focused on Batman and Supergirl, this would have been an awesome Elseworld’s Finest movie

Honeslty, the 1st half of this movie is really good, but once they brought in Supergirl & the multiple other timelines the story got overbloated. Plus, the message of how some things can't be changed like saving his mom is ruined with Barry literally doing that to free his dad.
He freed his dad but replaced Affleck w/ Clooney, and that was just by changing the tomato can's location. Agree that it was over-bloated though
According to the Zack Snyder Justice League, Darkseid wins unless the Flash warns them about their mistake with Superman. Matter of fact, it looks like the Flash has to save the world in a similar way in every Zack Snyder Justice League movie even though the next 2 movies was not made yet.

I am glad Michael Keaton has come back into acting. The fact of the matter is he can play literally almost any role with his ability to emulate everything from Batman, to Beatlejuice, to Mr. Mom. The fact that he was penned for this movie and killed it with his performance and is now about to star in Beatlejuice Beatlejuice this fall shows he still has it to pull it off.

For the power she was hitting them with, she'd punch and kick through guys before they went flying like that. An R-rated superhero movie would have the superhero literally shaking one bad guy/victim after another off their limbs or swinging them around violently until the body tore off. It'd be the grizzliest slasher film ever made.

If Supergirl is really strong, how come when she punched the soldiers in the face, there heads didnt disintegrate into red mist?
She wasn't fully powered up, but she was getting stronger during the fight and realized that and start to pulling some of her punches

It's fiction. The clothes she was wearing would have had bullet holes all over if we were being realistic. Not to mention that some of the guys should have been a bloody pulp just by how far they were launched.

Michael Keaton and Batman were the absolute best thing about the entire movie.
If only they recast Barry with Grant Gustin and explained it away as a multiverse thing and used better CGI. It would've killed.

Bringing Keaton back brought me chills in the trailer and I was amazed when I saw the entire movie. I really loved the Sasha Calle as Superwoman and think she nailed that part. She played it as a real relative of Superman played by Henry Cavill

The digi-double cgi is so lackluster - basically in line with everything ever in DC.
Though, in Man of Steel they managed to disguise it better and that was friggin 10 years ago!

seeing him again as batman made my year when I first saw this. I have such memories of seeing batman 89 with my uncle. we were both so excited and this just brought it all back. not a great movie but a fabulous batman scene. also this actress killed super girl she needs a full film
May have wanted to let her soak in a bit more Yellow Sun instead of sticking her in a cave underground soon after.

I can accept that she is bulletproof, but that piece of clothing on her has no fking excuse to be bulletproof as well after so many shot had hit on her cloth and doesn't even scratch a hole nor any burnt mark on it. John Wick could have use such kind of fabric too.
