You know who takes the ice cube trays? Roseanne Barr. That was a reference to his divorce at the time, and she actually took the ice cube trays.
27:30 That isn't a stunt double. That really is Jamie Lee Curtis hanging from the chopper in that scene. She got to do that on her birthday as well.
Did that copy of the movie cut out the last Tom Arnold scene where he complains about being in the van?
Yeah. You've gotta have that
A great Cameo by Charlton Heston. Dana was played by a young Eliza Dushku (Faith from Buffy the Vampire Killer).
Really funny how you said the convertible was like "Lola" when the used car salesman was "John Garrett". RIP Bill Paxton.
This was a lovely piece of work by Cameron.
The remake of a short film from France called "La Totale!" (1991).
Same year as T2:Judgment Day.
'Bigger than average' genre film and that worked like a charm.
TL is exactly what it's suppose to be.
Hardcore Spy/Comedy where the laughs and blasts are on the same level.
Arnold personally wanted Jamie Lee Curtis at top billing as the lead actress.
Because her character meant as much to the story as her husband's did.
The studio definitely changed their tune and were wrong about putting her name
under the title's name.
The late Bill Paxton as Simon the fake (3rd film with Cameron as well)
was quite the performance.
Prior to this film, Cameron was originally involved with Spider-Man and
X-Men becoming films which had the industry losing their minds.
Also the late, great Charlton Heston resembling classic Nick Fury
as boss of The Omega Sector was out of Cameron's fandom for Marvel.
Other than that, it was great to see Cameron and Arnold working together again.
There was a tv series on CBS and it ran one season.
Horrible idea.
James Cameron recently announced that "True Lies" and "The Abyss" will be released for the first time on 4K Blu-Ray. Both are available digitally now. "The Abyss" is another great movie you should react to. I recommend that you watch the director's cut (or "Special Edition" as it may be labeled). The Special Edition has a more complete story, as opposed to the theatrical version, which cuts out a subplot and also a huge special effects sequence.
Sheesh! What took so long?
@jp3813 he was making the "Avatar" movies, remastering those and other movies from his catalog for blu-ray and 4K. He is kind of a hands-on guy in that respect. There was also an issue with censors in the UK demanding that the scene with Hippy's rat being submerged in real breathable liquid. The UK censors termed it animal cruelty and demanded the scene be cut out. Caneron refused. After several months arguing about it, Cameron decided not to release "The Abyss" in the UK.
@@TheCkent100 It just seems like both films aren't high on Cameron's priority list compared to the rest of his filmography, including the documentaries.
@jp3813 probably not as high as "Titanic", the "Terminator" movies, the "Avatar" movies, "Aliens" and his own explorations of the real Titanic.
@@TheCkent100 Yeah, but even Ghosts of the Abyss and Aliens of the Deep already had bluray releases, right?
Did you know that when the rockets blew up the bridge, that is in fact an incredible model...?
if i remember correctly, in this movie we saw arnold on a horse for the first time since the conan movies. 😊
4:53 That's gonna blow Tom Arnold's eardrums out!
I've seen this movie many times and love it and seen the logo but never noticed till right now the grenade pin is a wedding ring. 😂
Art Malik/Aziz, continuing the Hollywood tradition of casting British villains, even when they're playing other nationalities.
It's so crazy to think of Aziz as a British gentleman
Superb reaction to one of Arnold's great action films with Jamie Lee Curtis. ANother action film with Arnold is Eraser. Highly suggest adding to your future watch list.
5:20 She is Eliza Dushku.
The plot is so simple and beautiful.
Harry Tasker loves to tango but he is a spy and that is a known part of his profile, so, he can never reveal his passion for the dance with his own wife unless he reveals to her that he is a spy and lets her know that dancing with him could blow his cover and put her life in danger, and she would have to accept that risk.
Everything else is secondary to that, and it is only after he reveals who he is, and after they're nearly killed and a nuke goes off and their daughter is kidnapped and rescued and all the truth comes out, that he can reveal his biggest lie: that he can dance.
One of the greatest "horse smarter than its rider" scene in the cinema :D
My favorite action movie, It finally became available for purchase digitally here recently…Great reaction per usual, and HAPPY NEW YEAR‼️
Ya
Janie stumbling and falling in her hotel room sexy dance wasn't in the script. She actually did accidentally stumble and Arnold legitimately started up to help her before stopping. Cameron liked it and kept it in the movie.
"I married Rambo" is even funnier when you consider that Arnold and Stallone (Rambo) were sort of rivals in the action hero business at the time.
It's more complicated than that - they always tried to reference each other in their films. In Stallone's "Demolition Man" they refer to the "Schwarzenegger Presidential Library"; in Last Action Hero there's an image of Stallone as the Terminator. There's even one in Tango and Cash.
Happy New Year ladies!!!! You are the best subscribers ever.
True Lies is the name of an Intelligence tactic in which you tell a lie enough times you believe it when you say it. So, you have no signs of incongruent speech or behavior (you pass visual, verbal, body or, even Polygraphics test). The face has 46,000 nerve Afferents' so someone who has eyes closed doesn't know what to expect is hypersensitive so the satin-like feel of a rose slowly caressing the skin and filling the olfactory sensors in the nose create an incredibly sensual overload. She has a Mac 10 .45 ACP it fires 50 rounds in under 2 seconds, we used to cut watermelons, but you had to hold it sideways because of the upward recoil. Ok Boris and Doris, I had a lot of fun, thank you.
You're fired 😂😂
Old but decent one from Arnold. The comedy lol.
Art Malik, who played the main bad guy owed £55,000 to the bank and £32,000 to the Inland Revenue, and was on the verge of being declared bankrupt when he got the lucrative part.
Jamie Lee Curtis admitted in an interview she was an" exotic Dancer"
This is a great action comedy film!
Put this in my watch later but noticed yall have couple of SCOOBY DOO reactions 🙂, yall should react and watch SCOOBY DOO MYSTERY INC seasons 1 and 2!
Nice reaction, ladies. That really was Jamie Lee Curtis hanging from a helicopter, not a special effect. I think it was also her birthday that day.
This really was Jamie Lee's best

Thats just off the top of my head. The 1990s is truly one of the greatest decades in film history.
I noticed the Sundance logo.
Now watch Arnold Schwarzenegger again in Commando, Eraser & Kindergarten Cop.
Can y'all please, please watch the 'Star Wars Resistance' animated series?! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I LOVE you Star Wars reaction content and just want more! ❤💯❤
A few years earlier before this movie, Arnold always wanted to be in a secret agent movie but was put in a movie called Total Recall. While it technically was what he asked for, it wasn't exactly. He wanted an almost James Bond style movie. James Cameron, having worked with Arnold in the past, chose him for this movie, which Arnold finally got his wish to be a secret agent.
Great movie though somewhat tainted by what happened to Eliza Dushku by stunt co-ordinator and creep Joel Kramer during the making of it.
