Chicken Matka Gosht is a flavorful Indian dish where chicken is slow-cooked in a clay pot (matka) with a mix of aromatic spices and herbs. Here's a simple recipe for making Chicken Matka Gosht:
Ingredients for Matka Ghost recipe:
- Chicken 01-kg
- Onion Medium size 2 Sliced
- Chopped Ginger 1-tbsp
- Chopped Garlic 1-tbsp
- Cumin seeds powder 2-tbsp
- Coriander powder 2-tbsp
- Chilli powder 1-tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1-tsp
- Salt 1&1/2-tsp or to test
- Button Red chillies 6-7
- Bay leaves 2
- Black peppercorns 1-tsp
- Cinnamon stick 1-Inch piece
- Staranies 2
- Cloves 5-6
- Green cardamom 3
- Cumin seeds 1-tsp
- Green chillies 6-7
- Whisked Yogurt 250g
- Mustard Oil (Cooked until Smoke)
- Coriander leaves 1-2 tbsp
Method For Cooking Matka gosht recipe:
- In a Large Bowl add all above ingredients and mix it well then transfer into a clay pot and seal it with flour (Steam Shouldn't remove) cover and cook on medium low heat for about 30-40 minutes.
- serve with naan,roti,chapatti or with rice.
