BALD HILL WA - A Campground You'll Want To Check Out!

- Bald Hill is a gem of a camp spot just 80kms out of Perth. Located in the Avon Valley National Park it is a beautiful spot to get away from the hustle of the city.
We head into Toodyay to do some exploring and go on a mission to find some old WW2 bunkers. Whilst in the town we also check out the Christmas shop, this place really needs to be seen to believe!

Lived in perth for 5 years and never ventured out that way. Campground looked beautiful and some cool history around Toodyay.

Always the way isn't it, live somewhere and you don't see it. Bald Hill is so beautiful and just on Perths doorstep, so lucky!
I have no idea how a huge Xmas shop like that survives in a country town, was super cool though!

There's a sweet bakery in Toodyay, very tasty 💙
Can't go past a good bakery can you! Everytime we have been to Toodyay the bakery always has a long line of people outside waiting to get in. We are yet to try it though, good excuse to go back 😊

Thanks Ernie! Once you get to the National Park it is about 10kms on a well maintained gravel road to the campground. There are drop toilets there but no showers. Thanks for watching mate!
