Yes. If u have MS41.1 or MS41.2 OBD2 compliant car u can do it that way. But most European e36s only got ms41 OBD1 compliance and no OBD2 port inside the car. Except for some very late models here in eu.

Hi, i have ms41.0. I want make pop and bang, but I have problem with 20pin. Everywhere everybody write that connect pin 14 and 18, but under the hood i dont have 18pin, only 14. So what i should do, is it possible to do map by obd 16 pin inside car ? Or how?

no. programming voltage needs to applied on 20pin
