Concrete is porous and has practically no mechanical shock resistance. It makes an extremely poor countertop surface and I have no idea why people would build such crap when there are far more Superior materials available for countertops. Not to degrade from the workmanship which is very good oh, he just chose the very poor example.

@@finaltouchdrywall epoxy is a synthetic surface and any small particulates that flake off from cutting on it can easily be transmitted into food as toxic inclusions. Epoxy has very good sealing properties, but there are superior surfaces for countertops that not only are watertight, are stronger, tougher, but also are not harmful if they break down over food preparation. They are also far less labor-intensive to install and as a result much more cost-effective and Superior. That's why Plywood, micro-cement And epoxy are not widely used. This countertop will not have the ability to absorb impact energy . And, I submit that there are far better applications for these materials other than countertops.
When will you be releasing the full video? :)

It’s micro cement. It is 2mm thick with an epoxy sealer over top. That countertop is made of 3/4 inch plywood with it over top of it.
