@@sambt123 nah I seen all their supermathces In Arm wars devon struggled more than ali did against foreman to beat trav on the right arm. In UAL It was easier but still It was not even close to this . You just cant compare that to Arsen Liliev performance. It is Travis' worst loss.
Recently on a podcast, he said he filled in for someone on short notice and no prep.

And he called travis, Engin said there were 2 months left to the match but still Travis came like a basketball player. And Engin was so shy to look at the sponsors face.

Travis is still top 10 in the world right handed. You cant take anything away from Arsen. This win puts him right near the top in the world right handed and he is much lighter than the big guys. Come March we will see what he has against John Brzenk. This is going to be exciting.

And very important! to mention about the match whit Denis and Arsen.We must remember that it was right arm match,NOT LEFT!Denis is left handed,it would smash Arsen on left,and I think if it was not tierd,would smash on right too.
I am from Romania,our champ. is Oncescu,but I am not a great fan of him,I still think Voevoda is the master armwrestler,and I will keep think that way to the death.I am practicing arm wrestling too,in 2013 I will participate to the national championship in Romania,I have just 24 years,1,94m height(pretty much like Voevoda) and 110kg's.i hope that one day I will duel Voevoda,that is my dream.

yea I recall match of travis anf voevoda..but at that time aren was just around 75kg and that's why both voevoda and baget were both I think stronger than he.. now I think he's approacing 95kg and he's way stronger..I still think voevoda will win if he competes next year, but john will have hard time with arsen..nice vid

@q8altair12 Travis didn't defeat Pushkar 12 times from what I know it was only a couple of times. Unless you can provide the links for the 12 defeats, anyhow Arsen being able to beat Travis doesn't mean that he can do the same to Pushkar that's not a good way to make an estimate. Pushkar really well developed on the inside & outside unlike Travis who like Arsen only has a toproll to his credit & a natural heavyweight which would be way too much for Arsen.
NO excuses for Travis - He lost to the better man on the day fair and square - Liliev has immense potential to rule the roost - I feel it's just a matter of time till he reaches the number 1 slot - True Travis looked slightly out of his element But that's not Liliev's fault

I am by no means a Bagent fan, I was saying this is boring because of the obvious reason...... It was way to easy for Liliev to beat Bagent. I like to see a good battle no matter who wins. I am a Brzenk fan and I hope Brzenk can find a way to beat Liliev next month.
@q8altair12 , Arsen is not what i call a puller that's just my opinion his match against Brzenk left a lot to be desired. Pushkar came into his own in 2007 where he became a force Travis beat Pushkar in 2005 when Pushkar was still developing so it doesn't really count . Pushkar IMO would embarrass Arsen he's just not up there with the big proper heavyweights Denis,Pushkar Devon etc
this was during travis downhill period. but now hes back.

WOW looked like Travis false started in the first strap match and he still got spanked. Have not seen Travis get flashed in many years. He doesn't look that small, either - 260 lbs. here and 280 at his heaviest, but he looks leaner. His forearms are still big and just because Arsen has 19.5" cold biceps and 16.5 straight forearms doesn't mean Travis is small... Arsen is just TO BIG!!!
Travis is substituting John Brzenk here, because John declined the match a short time before it and weighs about 230lbs. Engin said that he looked like a basketball player.

I'd put Arsen over Lupkes or John at 209 lbs. 2 months before this match Travis lost to John right handed but put up a good fight, and that was John at 230. Even if all Travis did was sit on his ass, which I seriously doubt, he ain't gonna lose all that in 2 months.

arsen does not use steroids and other shits to boost his strenght because he regularly competes in amateur european and world championship where they test every competitor for use of illegal substances unlike nemiroff(zloty) where is no testing.arsen,oncescu and pushkar are the only top pullers who compete in euro and world championships so they must be clean!!

Open your eyes, the negative in a dopping tests means absolutely nothing. You can use tons of steroids, GH, etc and get "clean". Take the evidence, look at his ginecomastia. Anyway, for me it doesnt matter, he is a great armwresler, but if you want to do a realistic analysis, you need to take these factors in the game, definitve factors.
