God is love. Most Christians are hypocrites and judgemental , Jesus talk about them in the Bible too so don’t get discouraged from what you see. :) the New Testament has some very good words ;)

      That's Awesome!
I encourage you to stay close to God's word... We are in a state of spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:12). But God is good! And greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4)...
Find a good church and pastor you feel comfortable to learn from.. There are many good resources online like OnePlace.com and BibleGateway ...God does recommend that we tithe (donate from what we have to others) but, God doesn't require or need our money, so don't be put off by churches that accept tithes...but also, don't ever be made to feel you must give money to please God.
Do read old and new testaments it's how we hear what God has to say to us. Keep key verses in your heart and ready in your mind like:
      Romans 12:2, John 3:16,
      Romans 10:9
You might also find a good Christian radio station many available online.. You might like to read CS Lewis "Mere Christianity" ...
You might enjoy movies like "I Can Only Imagine", "Courageous", "God's Not Dead"
God is with those that are with Him! "Stay close"
      God bless you! ^.~

Just goes to show where we are spiritually as a society when people cannot listen to a sermon for less than 14 minutes without ripping the preacher apart, and yet can sleep rough for days to catch a glimpse of celebrities, go to a music festival or travel across continents for a football match....it may have gone on a little longer than scheduled, but I for one thought it was an excellent sermon (as any spiritually discerning person would). I may not agree with all his views, but he was given a platform to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and he did excellently.

Anne Maree: I'm not a scriptures and faith guy but I do listen to the messages from a variety of religions leaders, as I find them all quite interesting; esp when their message is positive in nature. With that said, in my eyes -- Love is pure emotion which raises its beautiful head in a persons overt behavior. Love generally realizes momentum for ones previous life's experiences coupled with hope that tomorrow may be better; especially if the person themselves puts forth an effort to care for others; goes above and beyond taking the high road and understanding and caring for their fellow man no matter what status society and the church may have assigned those individuals. Love is paramount.

I’m going to say something negative.
The Church of England really is a very secular and agnostic culture. It never preaches. In our culture we are serene in places of worship with a professional disposition. This went against all of that and the very essence of what the modern Anglican Church is all about. He was preaching, and it was like he was preaching a whole new religion to the guests. This comes across as extreme to us, and arrogant. We are not used to devout Christian extremism in the UK, but there IS a lot of this sort of Christianity in the USA. Even our Arch Bishop of Canterbury is secular and believes in “evolution by natural selection” - so this is really bizarre to us!
It’s not “embarrassing” but it is cringey because it’s just not the place or type of church to do this in. As such, it seems so forced and disingenuous. It’s also testament to how Meghan never really wanted to amalgamate herself into our culture from the onset and it was always about changing our institution and culture. It seems Meghan and her mum were happy with the sermon - almost as if they were teaching us “how it’s supposed to be done” but this just comes across as arrogance
Apart from that, whilst he said some lovely things, he over emphasised a lot, far too repetitive and excited, yet none of it was particularly inspiring or thought provoking for him to be this excited!? Over enthusiastic and over dramatic considering the content of the sermon …. Anyway, I do have respect for different views. Each to their own I guess.

Amen. This man has spread the Word even further. No excuse to millions who heard the message. This is one section the British press have not mentioned. But with love we keep going. Amen.

Martin Ogunbiyi British media hates the gospel more than America.
That being said, he didn't mention the cross once

I’m first generation American, my grandmother was in the Royal Air Force, before becoming a British war bride and bringing my mother to America on the Queen Mary. I was very young when Charles married Diana but remember growing up how much my family loved and respected Lady Di and the Queen mother. I’ve heard firsthand about the Queen being a female soldier serving her people during the bombing of Britain instead of fleeing. Lady Di quietly became part of the Royal family becoming a gentle humanitarian and beloved mother. Kate, a lovely and selfless woman who never needed to announce who she was. The way she lives her life would endear her to Princess Diana. My husband and I both served the U.S. Army for ten years, leaving me widowed at age 30. Since my military career I’ve been given the opportunity to be of service with Team Rubicon. We are a veteran organization that assists communities after natural disaster. Harry was a fellow “Greyshirt”, he actively volunteered with Team Rubicon. Well respected by American vets who assisted in rebuilding American communities after being ravaged by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. I’ve worked with greyshirts who spoke highly of his work ethic and compassionate spirit. I’ve always heard how proud Lady Di would be of her legacy in her sons, Harry’s service to country and humanitarianism just like her. Being said I thought he would fall in love with a woman who embodied the heart of a servant leader like his late mother and grandmother. Poignant sermon delivered by a man committed to serving God and spreading a message a love. Very sad that Megan Markle doesn’t possess the spirit to understand anything about the sermon. She doesn’t share any character traits with the Queen Mother, Lady Di, Fergie or any of her predecessors who were true feminists. She’s brought fire alright, leaving Harry and his family burned and choking on the smoke. Recently her “beloved” has been made to choose between who he is and what she wants. Megan is trying to extinguish the legacy of selfless service that burned in Harry. Megan’s estranged him from his family and people. He’s been stripped of his uniform that was of such pride to him. I didn’t know Megan was black until very recently. She tried to gain recognition as a feminist, she doesn’t hold a candle to real feminists like her husbands mother and Grandmother. Declaring herself a “woman of color” has not gained any respect from African American women who don’t have to declare who they are. This impassioned sermon is cruelly ironic in hindsight. Megan has used “love”, shamelessly. While she did her best acting that day she’s shown anything but love to Harry, his family or his people. Megan may think by wearing Diana’s jewelry, pretending to honor her the world will be fooled. No, Megan the only fool is you. Hiding behind words like Love and Feminism, even using the race card in attempt to have character. I’ve never watched your TV show, I’m sure you were a good actress in a Netflix series but not on the worlds stage. Everyone sees who you are and what you’re doing. The royal family will forgive Harry and heal from the hurt you have caused. We haven’t watched you fall from grace because you don’t embody grace. You’re an embarrassment to Americans, women and the black community.

Bishop Curry would have had to have consulted and collaborated with the Archbishop of Canterbury about his sermon and his delivery. If the Archbishop had not approved of it, Curry would not have spoken in such a way. Maybe the Archbishop of Canterbury was trying to make his own cultural statement. Bishop Curry's sermon was probably too long and too impassioned for the traditional Anglican Church, but they hearken back to his mother's roots in the rural southern black Baptist church. If you are too transfixed on his style, then you are clearly missing a very moving and well-crafted sermon.

It worked. Despite the handful of trolls like we have here, the world loved it, and the English thought it was brilliant.
