This was a great level. Probably didn't have the best free skate features but it had great atmosphere and background noise!
What a Beautiful Level! The atmosphere, the Level Design. Man, i'm 38 now.....back in the day, ( 20 years ago ) me & my friends would play H.O.R.S.E. until the sun came up. Starting from this NYC Level to UP UP OLLIE to Grind the wall to get the Park Gap annnnnnnd soooooo on. It reminds me of Sleepovers. No Rent, No Bullshit, No Drama, No Drugs, No Death, No Bitches. Just pure play. All we ate were grilled cheese and soft fried egg sandwiches with cheese. What a wonderful time of life. Who needs a Time Machine? Once a year I get the THPS & THP2 discs out and 100% each. Every Gap on THPS2 is a fuckin JOY

This is a great comment. Working on the PS1 it was tough to really flesh out big levels, and the draw-in distance was so close to the skater to keep frame rate up at 60fps. The sound effects helped a lot with the atmosphere, though. Memories of some fun old days for sure.

I'm more excited to revisit this level in the remake than any of the others. It wasn't even the best level in Pro Skater 2, but the brooding atmosphere of the city made it very memorable for me at the time.
And its one of the best looking levels in remaster for sure

anyways great level, i recommended playing this one with out the music as the ambiance really adds to the level love the gunshots ❤
It's an good level to focus your combo on but you gotta watch out for traffic.

I'm playing for RetroAchievements, and I'm using Tony Hawk. I have to 100% NY without upgrading my stats, and I can't seem to get that $250 on top of the Statue... any suggestions?
