For others that can't get up to the fountain drain wheels, there's a cable you can grind, over the fountain, to get up there. Repeatedly jump and grind in quick succession to go up the cable and land on the roof near the fountain shutoff area.
Damn some people are so chill and disciplined with the controls. I'm one of those clumsy, panic button mashers when a lot of specific things need to be done in quick succession. Honestly don't know how people do it. lol. In all though this is the only level I was never able to 100%
I cant walride to the cable with the tape. I dont get it, I cant walride and wallie high enough to grind the wall. Edit: you dont need to walride up to the cable that has the tape. If you go to the other end of the cable it connects to a ledge that's simple to get on and then grind to the tape.
Could you please do a video of how to get the secret tape in this level? You showed only 2 seconds of it, so it's completely unclear how to get it or even what part of the level it's in, because you never show it.

i know, but i thought the process was jump, then wallride, then wallie and then grind, but it only works a small fraction of the time, so there must be a factor im not quite pulling off.
@@imWD40 I forgot to reply to my own comment once I learned it, but thanks for helping others out lol. One more tip for anyone struggling, make sure you boost your special before you go up, and aim to get lots of air. Press the down down right before you grind, and then just grind on the awning.
@@MatthewG23 Ok I figured how to get the fountain. I just grinded on the wire where tape is at. It's not much easier but possible for me to at least get there. Finally I got that goal done and I got the cash up there as well.

for me it was draining the fountain. I'm doing every fucking thing he does yet mine will not gain the air he gets.
I couldn't make the jump at 0:37, but I decided to buy some decks at the skate shop to increase my speed and that made it far easier.

Actually its quite easy. you can go up the stairs, jump and grind the edge, then jump to the E at the end.

You have to get enough speed to jump straight from the ramp to the first rail, and then boneless. And have faith

this secret tape jump is driving me crazy, every time i make it i cant hit the cable, any tips on doing the jump consistently?
In the video I didn't jumped, you can just let him go and as soon as you get out the roof press the grind button

i recommend maxing out your special bar, it increases your speed thats how i did it
