Here in 2024. This song is incredible. Also, one of the best videos I've ever seen.
Such a beautiful song on so many levels. If it wasn't for CZcams, I would never have discovered this band. Never on XM Radio, or anywhere else here in the States.
this is actually the first time I've heard them, as well, and I'm sold on it. The melancholy mood just fits perfectly with my existential dread

I could dream away with this music, even fall asleep. Despite the harsh vocals. This vibe gives me a chill feeling. Musically I'm in love with bleakness (is that a word?).
Try their song Green Eyes, I think it's one of their few songs with some clean vocals and it's also really relaxing.

Quite goodium. For some reason, the vocals were a bit much for me. I need to give this another listen or two. I like death metal but the particular timbre of his growl had something off-putting for reasons I can't put my finger on.
Edit - three straight listens and I love it. That's a purchase for sure.
Edit Edit: I'm totally hooked, and they do a cover of Rush Subdivisions on the album.

Now, two paths form in front of you. One path takes you to newer, perhaps more mellow Omnium Gatherum - Be The Sky with official meta video. The other takes you to more raw Omnium Gatherum - New World Shadows with unofficial video based on a movie. Both paths are right.

I've always enjoyed Omnium Gatherum whenever they've incidentally come on, but never really spent the time to listen closely. And now I need to go buy a CD or 3, as I need to listen to more of this.

As I think he barfed it out anyway, singer might as well leave his gizzard on that rocky shoreline for for the birds! That said, loved the musicianship of this piece! All players are clearly, highly skilled, and that melody just took me on a great journey! Cheers!

The main guitarist and composer is Markus Vanhalla- I think you are familiar with him. He first started with OG and came to Insomnium a few years later. You definately hear parallels between this two bands because of Markus. The vocalist of OG is not my taste- I thinh his voice doesn‘t really match with the rest of their music. As a big fan of Insomnium I listen to OG from time to time. Greetings from Switzerland

Yeah I've done Mors Subita and I tried to do Wolfheart a long time ago and it was blocked by the record company.
