This was so fun!! I wish I was more hyped up about the eagle, but I just couldn't believe I hit a tree and somehow it worked out... Best (luckiest) shot I've ever hit!
Cheap par 3 courses are the bomb for working on irons and contact. The course name is awesome too 😂
Agree. Good for wedge and short iron practice
There is something so charming about these courses, there is one like this by me that I practice on and depending on the day its empty so you have the ability and time to make a couple circuits and drop balls around and practice shots/chipping/pitching etc.
Its raggedy, there are tire marks on the 7th green that have yet to be fixed in the 2 years I've been playing there and some greens have huge patches of sand like this course, but damn if it isn't fun and a great way to practice and learn for beginners.
Places like this are fun as long as they're honest about what they are. Obviously this course isn't trying to larp as Pebble Beach, you know what you're getting in to.
It's unfortunate they don't have the funds to improve the course. It's a nice layout and the dudes running it are super cool. If they could just get some financial backing they could really have something there.
I love how that was like the most casual hole out ever
Just another day on the course for Sam
Great video! But the worst-rated course in Arizona definitely has to be desert sands! Also, they have a free course out in Apache Junction, but it's all dirt haha.
Yes it is called snake hole golf club
I grew up near this course, used to be called Fiesta Lakes. My dad worked for one of the owners and we used to play for free. I used to play it quite a bit in high school in the 90’s. I stopped by when visiting my parents a couple years back, I think it wasn’t long after the current group took it over, to hit some balls at the range. The guy in the pro shop said he was one of the owners, and he was very nice, saying they had big plans to bring the course up to par lol. Hope this helps them out. Would hate to see this end up as another apartment complex in Mesa.
it cant, it is a dedicated flood zone
I love this show. I've played a couple of the courses you played
It’s been awhile, good to see a vid. 👍
Lol horror clips in between holes has me dying. 😂
Those are actually eucalyptus trees.
I believe those are eucalyptus trees. I've always wondered what that course looked like. Yikes.
There’s always that one guy dressed like he’s on tour. Buddy, you’re at a 15$ golf course no need for all that
“Great tree placement”. Hahahahah. Perfect
Nice thumbnail by the way, not even on the property.
Buddy doesn’t understand thumbnails
$15, beautiful trees, water, not bad for a par 3
Took me a moment to figure out where this was. LOL.. I played this course some 30 years ago (different name, but I can't remember what that was). It was a fun little course and in better shape back then.
Wouldn't play it again, but I enjoyed the entertainment Josh brings by exploring courses like this
I would definitely play here. Not the best greens but it looks like it would really make you take chances off the tee.
Gotta love a spray painted green. Worth the price.
Ahh yes you can hear the traffic on the 60 in the background. Going around a couple times and hitting up In-n-out around the corner for lunch is a good cheap way to spend the day.
You guys made the course look fun to play!
Epic course.
We had a course like that in Texas.
I remember my boss taking us all out for a game, and one of my coworkers was constantly complaining about how trashy it was.
My boss finally told him that the course is fine, and if he's only good on pretty, manicured courses, then he doesn't have real golfing skills.
To add insult to injury, he asked my coworker if he was only good when things were perfect and if he needed to question his ability to handle situations with the company.
The complaining stopped, and we all had a blast.
Courses like these are rare and epic if you can see them for their worth.
Reminds Me Of The Course I First Started Playing Golf Many Years Ago.
I think that you should try Sugar Hills in Goodland Kansas. Rural Kansas course.
Is that a yardage book in his back pocket?? 😂 probably won't be needing that.
Will you please do a breaking 32 from the reds?
This is like some dystopian golf course that should be in a Charlton Heston movie (Omega Man?).
They got the TimTheTatman outro playing 🤣🤣🤣 1:10
The spooky music is cracking me up
For $15 id be playing every single day. A bucket of balls at a range in SWFL this time of year is $12-16 and the cheapest courses are charging >$60 for 18
49er golf course (also in Arizona) has got to be a close second. It has dead grass on all tee boxes. Fairways are either dead grass or mud. All greens barely have grass coverage
That was great.
Palo Verde golf course and Aguila 9 are the best bargain courses under $20 in AZ both are well cared for considering ones a public course
Why we're you all so chill about that eagle shot?😂
In Connecticut I spend $16 on 100 range balls, Vermont 110B $20, DC $16 110B $16 the DC balls are almost unusable and wouldn't even be worth spending two or three dollars. Maryland pretty good for 110B $10 or 200B $15. I've only played at a few courses for $15 in my lifetime although I have not been playing for too long. Even if you're playing on dirt if it's anywhere from $10-$15 better than practicing on a artificial Matt. I've also paid for courses that looked worse than this and paid $32-$50 so for me the price alone makes us a five star review.
I played Melrose Golf Course outside of Houston TX last year when I was there for a work conference. Rented 3 clubs and bought 3 used balls and had the time of my life. Course was a total dog track but the employees were fabulous and made no bones about what they were. Best $25 I've spent in a long time.
2003 Toyota Highlander, hopefully, its in storage by the time you all get a hole in one...lol and two it is over 20 years old you can register it as an antique. Well at least in my state. Crossing my fingers!!
I always thought Kokopelli was the worst course in Arizona. Wow.
The reason you took a divot with a matt is that you chunked it bud🤣
Yeah he refuses to admit when he hits a good shot I honestly hate that guy
Huh?
Looks like where they filmed tin cup.
That's a fun little course for cheap
Wow suprised murphy was able to walk the course!
The greens: SpongeBob voice “I neeeeed waterrrrr”.
This place makes bushwood look like Augusta
Play Quailwood in AZ
Just came off this course. Not near as bad as it looks BUT, I will say it could be a seriously awesome track if they put money into it.
For a second I thought it was frederick golf course. 18 bucks . Buck a hole lol
First impressino for me is that for 15 bucks, it knows what it is.
Mullets rock!
where is this
My cousin Gary with downs took a dump on one of those mats
I'm a disc golfer and I've never played this course when it was frisbee golf.
I want the course back for disc golf anyways....😂
They still rent the course our for disc golf tournaments there is one there this weekend
The dude with the stash looks like he's wearing a disguise....
😂
Say the name and location of the course FFS josh
Murphy is him
First
