It’s literally in the best shape it’s been in in a decade. They don’t water at all during the summer months so the fall rains have made it way better than it’s been. Girl in the shop and younger guys are nice to everyone. Get an older guy behind the counter and no thanks. Great lay out and poorly maintained.
It’s really sad because it’s beautifully designed course, much more challenging than a lot of courses in the area but they just don’t maintain it at all
You made this course look much better than it really is. Last summer they only watered the greens leaving the rest of the course to die. Cracks in the ground got so big I could fit my entire golf club in it. Hole 3 is a horrible design. The ground must have been softer than normal because usually your drives on 3 and 4 would have run into the water.
It’s a fun track. Not in great shape but worth the green fee. Hole 3 is crazy. Blind tee shot, water left, basically a blind shot into the green surrounded by trees. Happy to see you in my neighborhood!

Bro hasn’t played the worst course in Oklahoma until he’s played Cimarron National GC in Guthrie. That place is a disgrace
They really let that place fall apart. During Covid Cimarron National was so nice. Then they just stopped taking care of it

Id love to see him do a review of River Terrace Golf Course in Houston. Its between 18 and 35 bucks depending on when you play. No tee times, just get a cart and get in line. Very decent fairways and some really nice greens for the price. I think he'd enjoy the course and shoot a low score
He can also add Golf Club of Houston to make a "least expensive vs most expensive" video for Houston.
I have played there a couple of times (My kid lives nearby). The layout is not bad at all but the greens are awful. Number three is just a bad designed hole.

Nah fam, you’ve never been to Cobblestone outside of Muskogee 😭 greens were dead with Goose poop everywhere and still trying to charge 40 dollar green fees.
So funny watching this after having played it a while back. It was so bad we gave up at the 8th. Definitely charging for more than you’re getting.
I grew up in this neighborhood and would drive 20 minutes away to golf😂

Literally canceled my tee time yesterday after reading reviews. Turns out it wasn’t too bad
In Europe for $27 with cart thats VERY DECENT. Here we have all without drainage, no sanding firways (mud after bit of rain) 10-15ymax fairways...but they are not shy ask for 100 at summer but thats when few amateurs literally is all that play and handing money to the owners,not wide spread sport but be sure in USA u have golf HEAVEN!

The time of year isn’t why the greens are brown unfortunately. It used to be a decent track but since they added the 3rd 9 holes it’s gotten bad. Hope you played a good course while you were here in Oklahoma City haha should’ve played Roman Nose state park in watonga. That’s a fun one
I agree that Roman Nose is a fun track but I think you and I may have a different definition of “fun” than most people 😂
