I have a Gringo and a Bonanza, like them both.
I usually use a bubble shield with the Bonanza and goggles with the Gringo.
However I stupidly rode with the goggles up (sunglasses on) and forgot about them…. of course they came off on the highway, so I’m about to try the bubble shield on the Gringo.
Not sure what size helmet you use, but my goggles never quite fit in the Gringo and wearing eyeglasses was definitely not going to happen, even though Biltwell said they would.
Does your bubble shield fog up with the Gringo at stoplights?
My helmet is size XXL I believe (big ol' noggin) so that might help my goggles to fit alittle better lol.
I think I do overall prefer the bubble shield on my gringo to my goggles though.
I feel googles loose lots of field of view… even more than the already lost field of view of this helmet. What’s your thoughts on this ?
I didn't feel like my vision was effected too much. They were comfortable. my biggest draw back was how loud the wind was compared to a full face helmet.
Every one I know that ever used a bubble lost it within two days at speed , I was behind one of them on route to the Pyrenees and the damn thing nearly smacked me in the head , instead it bounced off windscreen of the car behind . Each time this happened was from looking over the shoulder to change lane . They have to be one of the dumbest inventions since the skirting board ladder .
haha yes that has happened to me when i tried putting the bubble shield on my open face helmet. When I turned my head the wind ripped it right off. I haven't had that issue with the full-face gringo helmet, fortunately.
Whats your helmet brand / whats the type of your helmet
My helmet is Biltwell the Gringo Style - I added on their Moto 2.0 goggles.
