Lexus was the sponsor for her Renaissance world tour that supported minority people with low income. Also everyone in country says TRUCK, why not be a little bougie and say LEXUS?

Honestly, I just think Lexus is the only car brand that rhymes with Texas.

Beyonce is doing Blues/Americana which has DEEP African American roots. And she's brought some very special heavy hitters, within the genre, along for the ride to E-DU-MUH-CATE the Folk on the history. ;)
We know of Rhiannon Giddens, who I've been following for years, who was playing the banjo on the Texas Holdem track. She's also an INCREDIBLE vocalist and all-around phenom talent.
Looking forward to March to see what other significant Black players/pioneers she'll be showcasing.

Country people are not the stereotype that is perpetuated about them. There are middle class people & rich people in texas and she grew up middle class until her family went through financial issues. No amount of money will change who she is and where she is from. She has put in more work and money into her home state than the government. She is a proud Texan woman and will always be country.

Seriously though, if Beyoncé was calling out in car that was not luxury it wouldn’t seem authentic… it’s Beyoncé after all

Beyoncé grew up middle class in a wealthy Texas neighbourhood and her father had a Lexus. It’s not being mentioned for luxury.

"middle class" and "wealthy" are mutually exclusive

Actually I worked for Lexus for over 15 years and I will assure you that people come up to Albuquerque from Texas to buy Lexus for me and their farmers and their cowboys so try again

It's significant that seven Black women held this conversation at the Grand Ole Opry House. Linda Martell was the first Black woman to make the country charts with "Color Him Father" and debuted on the program in 1969.Feb 21, 2024

    Also...
This album was completed a couple of years ago & there were published reports that Beyonce's next Era would consist of House/Dance, Country and finally Rock... all of which she's dabbled in before.
The lyrics but also the artists that she decides to collaborate with have been pioneers and icons in the various genres she's played. With Renaissance, she worked with and credited on the album, the pioneers of House and Disco - who are now receiving their SHINE, and increased revenue.
With this album she's doing the same with pioneers and important artists of the genre, including Rhiannon Giddens - a PHENOMENAL artist and a POWERHOUSE in her OWN right.
With her incredible voice (operatic levels), her instrumentation, her HISTORY telling (has been instrumenal ;) in the public knowing that the BANJO was an instrumen tbrought to America by Enslaved Africans).... she is AWE inspiring.

This ain't Texas... so park your Lexus. I don't know how much clearer she's gotta be that that's not how things are done round here 🤷‍♀️ That's not to brag about luxury items it's to emphasize that round these parks we're down to earth.

if anything she's being authentic by mentioning the Lexus. Why would she say a Ford truck when we all know she isn't driving one?

    • @Habxxn04
      @Habxxn04 Před 6 měsíci

She’s literally country. Like, do you think everyone in the south is poor? Do you not know that people in texas have money? Do you know cars come at many different price points? “How things are done around here” and you’re literally talking about her home that her family has been living in since they were brought over as slaves. You are deeply unwell.
