Battered is my preference all day long. I have bought these a good few times and love the battered fillets. Certainly best out of any of the other brands close to that price range. Two of those fillets, oven chips and mushy peas for under £1-50 is a proper dinner. Lovely stuff. Cheers👍
Both look good & good value. Battered for me 🙂
Great review ,iv been buying these for some time now ,for me they are fine ,Great price also. With some baked beans/chips and a couple of slices of bread you cant go wrong. Cheers
I like both 😂 Battered with chips and mushy peas, breaded with new potatoes and carden peas.
I think the slightly more sugar and stuff on the breaded ones is probably because of the breadcrumbs.
I eat it the same but also the breaded with jacket potato
battered fish i like too . great review deano
I was just thinking about tonight's dinner and I have some of Iceland's Luxury battered haddock fillets in the freezer, you made my mind up for me. Great review Deano. PS... Battered for me also.
What I never like about these frozen fish things is the layer of wallpaper paste between the fish and the batter.
Nothing wrong with pollock as it is part of the cod family. Battered version for me.
Hi battered all the way but I don't mind both
I just tried the Aldi battered fish Pollock fillet and was pleasantly surprised
20 minutes in Air Fryer.
Fantastic Five Star value and surprisingly had five star great taste with nice crispy batter.(I actually like the taste of Pollock an underrated fish in my opinion just as good as cod/haddock for flavour and at a lower price?)
with Aldi mushy peas(33p a can) together with Aldi French fries (£1.35p a Kg)
Which I personally think Aldi are the best french fries better than other supermarkets
A great value meal😊👍
Personally I don't mind pollock. Another nice cheapish fish if you want to batter your own is Basa. I prefer the cheaper fish, i can't justify spending the extra money on cod or haddock.
I'd always go for the breaded for health reasons, youve changed my mind!
Are breaded healthier?
Hi mate, I love your style and the way you present stuff! Keep on keepin on dude...
Breaded for me 💯 and I cook them in the oven ❤
Battered for me all day long. Your prices over there are so good too. Even taking the exchange rate.
Buy both but my preferred go to is battered but there both ok
Same fillets in Iceland, are £2. Choice of battered or breaded. 9p cheaper each, than Aldi!!
@@Scooby_Doobie_Doo I am merely showing that Aldi aren't always the cheapest!
@@L1RWindeed, that 9p could make a difference to some folks, as it all adds up at the end of the spend.
Breaded ready meals always higher fat count as breadcrumbs soaked in oil to crisp in oven
Get well soon deano😊
Have they changed the box to red for the battered fillets?
Just deano enjoy your reviews how about doing a just english welsh irish and of course bonnie scotland meals cheap thing and helping our own because nobody else in the world is more tightly moniterd than us good for us good for the country 😊
DEANOOOOOOOOO I always buy Aldi battered fish it's yummy.
Bsttered fish 4 me Deano. Good video. Cheers
I like the youngs tempura ones.
But battered all the way!
I like both....but when it's store bought i prefer breaded
Mmmmm Why not both ;)
I prefer battered fish but breaded onion rings
Pollock is perfectly good fish - no need to splash out on cod when you can't really taste any difference. I always find the breaded frozen fish a bit dry, battered goes down better. Which is odd, as I don't really like batter much 🙂
Make your own, a honest result!
Battered for me Deano! …. Smithy
I like breaded myself
They are good value but the fish isnt proper fillets , they are processed , not for me , but if you are budgeting they are a good buy 👍
It is pollock. White fish.
It looks like proper fillets?
battered 💯
Cheap them! Good protine fix
battered foor me i find breaded too dry
Battered all day long 😊😊😊
🐟What's happening people!!!!🐟
Well clearly there's nothing happening in your life you sad twat.
I really wish I liked Pollack I'd save myself some money but I can't stand the taste of it!
what taste, there is none to Pollock, will never buy any product with it in
battered for me anyday
Battered 👍
Battered for me
Definitely battered, but I wouldn't buy either of those.
I don't want palm fat and seed oils.
Cheap not nice tasting fish cod or haddock £3.99 for 4 lots better and lidl fish taste better than aldi i think
Battered
We buy these for my lad regularly and he loves them. The battered ones are his favourite but both are great for the price.
They support the IRA
@@BuzzLightyear-lq7hiDid you Google that ?
Bread is lame...battered rules😂
Aldi sucks!
Not everyone has the money to shop at expensive shops Aldi has some good cheap stuff
@@Scooby_Doobie_Doo agree on the fruit and veg and the salad
@@alanmeasures8337i agree with you
Just stop oil
Battered
