I bought my iPhone SE about a year and a half ago, and I couldn’t get it until I personally could afford to get it myself…without any help. And this was my VERY first iPhone that I bought for myself!
This is a fact, I have a sister-in-law works for Apple where her 11 year old daughter has a newer iPhone than I do, and all of her kids including my brother, and I can use her employee discount whenever we want for the latest Apple devices. I really don’t need to considering what I have put my phone through (like accidentally dropping it in the toilet), it still works, and I’m not going to get another phone until something really bad does happens to it, like the phone won’t turn on any longer. It just isn’t necessary.

i have a feeling i relate to this, i don't have a phone either, im the only one in high school who dosn't have a phone and its really annoying. One thing tho, having an iPhone 10 where I live is counted as 'super cool!' and 'expensive!'. Do ya'll know how much they even cost? The older phones are actually better, because there starting to create the new ones without a sd card slot,so you won't be able to add more memory to store more stuff,and there starting to take away the headphone jacks,no way would I want to buy a headphone jack cord,when I can have a phone that already has one. They say the newest ones out there are the best,until they come out with something else. Really it dosnt matter which one you get,pretty much does the same stuff,and if it dosnt theres always apps to make it possible.

My Sister's Twin brother and her had their own iPhone 6 And in 2018 they saved up enough to get their new IPhones and me and my brother got their phone 6's and they were really cool even if the where 'old' iPhones and even if they were slow we still appreciated them
