- Today visitors to Dublin Airport were treated and surprised with an incredible 'flashmob' from the cast of 'Take The Floor 2013' and the music of Beoga. An international cast of over 60 of the world's leading Irish Dancers, representing 11 different countries, stunned patrons with their substantial addition to the viral "flashmob" craze. This is in lieu of their upcoming tour across Ireland kicking off at Dublin's Helix Theatre next Friday, August 9th. If they'd ever do that with me in the airport, I'd fall over dead. So beautiful. THAT is Ireland. Mash us down, crush us over and over again, and we'll pop back up smiling and dancing. God bless Ireland and the Irish!
When I finally make it it Ireland, I’d loved to be welcomed by this incredible group of dancers as my first experience to the beautiful Irish culture!
I'm plain old English, watching this makes me wish I had more Irish in me than one great-great grandmother! Fine young people doing a super job, a total joy to behold. My heartfelt thanks to every one of them.
My friend, the great William Shakespeare referred to “this blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England.” And everyone's prophetic hero George Orwell captured the same essence in The Lion and the Unicorn (1941): "There is something distinctive and recognisable in English civilisation.…It is somehow bound up with solid breakfasts and gloomy Sundays, smoky towns and winding roads, green fields and red pillar-boxes. It has a flavour of its own. Moreover it is continuous, it stretches into the future and the past, there is something in it that persists, as in a living creature.
"
Magical, marvellous, and truly great.
Cheers :)
@@StarCoded? I don’t understand this is Ireland.
I cant describe how I feel listening to this..I just love the rythm and I love Irish dance and music.
Love Ireland!Respect for your tradition.Greets from Bavaria.
This is known in the old world as entertainment... Real talent, skill, dedication. Ponder the sheer number of hours, collectively, that have gone into each one of those ppl, that brought them to this point, to give YOU this little bit of joy. Puts life into perspective for me.
Victoria Love yes
Kill The Prisons wtf are you talking about “old world”, this is still entertainment today, see all the people standing around being “entertained”?! Hard work dedication is as applicable today as it was in “old world”.
Thanks to Riverdance, and Micheal Flatley's shows which I have loved since the beginning, Irish dance has gone worldwide, and become legendary.
It's crazy. I am watching the same video that got me into Irish dance almost 7 years later.
Brilliant and wonderful to see so many youngsters still going for it with traditional Irish dance.
best way to say "welcome"
love Ireland,greetings from Bulgaria.
I love Irish step dancing, and this flash mob was fab! Wish I could dance like that!
I'm a far foreigner, but I do love this land and this nation for his music, culture & pubs of course. Go raibh maith agat.
Ireland is my fav place ever...always makes me smile!
What can I say? Perfection at it's most perfect. Proud to be Irish!!
Fabulous to watch. Wish I could dance. Love Ireland. Go the Irish!!!
Ireland's artistic future is in safe hands. Well done to the Irish youth!
😃😄 makes me feel very happy when large groups of individuals get together to do positive things like this ♥️🌻
Irish blood, Irish Proud! Go for it young Lasses and lads!
That dance is one of the most 'good feeling' dances and music!!! Thanks for posting!!
Were do there get all that energy from . I'm tired just watching them
Love that "the next generation" is bringing Irish dance into the modern world with looser arms, more smiles and expression, and more relaxed torsos--even the dab that Denver Caluza noticed. Traditional dance is wonderful, the best training ever for foot speed and technique, but innovation is a good thing too!
There is a time to fit in and a time to stand out! These dancers are STAND OUTS!
Love to see young people dance. They had so much control. Really good job. Just brillant!!!
their synchronicity is amazing
You should watch the truly masterpiece of synchronicity in "Riverdance" or "Lord of the Dance". But these kids are pretty good.(and more than half of the girls are so gorgeous, Jeez...)
Excellent!!! The Irish are the best.
IRELAND!!!!!!! I LOVE THE FOLKS MUSIC! AMAZING DANCING!
Love it! Gave me chills and brought tears to my eyes. I used to be on a dance team myself and seeing young people dancing always does that to me!
Thank you kids. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your dedication to your craft does not go unappreciated.
I love that at every flash mob there are people that walk by trying their best to ignore them. It's like:
bloody hell, another flash mob! Well just keep moving and don't make eye contact.
I LOVE IT. THIS NEVER GETS OLD. IT FIRES UP MY BLOOD AND MAKE ME WISH I COULD DANCE LIKE THAT.
These beautiful performers brighten everyone's day. Bravo!
That's what I call a successful welcome for all the people coming out of the arrivals doors. Well done
Love Ireland!!!! Love the Dancers!!!! So Incredible!!!! The sweetest people in the whole world!
Brilliant. I always love watching Irish dancing. Well done to all these young dancers.
Arriving at Dublin is always a homecoming filled with joy. Oh, to have witnessed this!
Proud to be Irish 🇮🇪
Love it when the youth does healthy and wholesome activities with their time. Like appreciating their love for their culture through dance and music, and sharing it with the rest of the world to behold.
Wish to visit Ireland someday.

WHEw! let me catch my breath here!! this makes me proud to be 100% Irish!!! I play the tin whistle, highland bagpipes, cello, and celtic harp...;) Anyway...a treat to see this for sure!! SHLAINTE!!!!
Wow! is there anything you can't do?! 😁 I love all music from around the world an Irish is so beautiful 👏💞 hi from England.
For one moment... everyone was standing, not rushing or talking and calm...it was a wonderful gift... thank you!
Amazing how the floor just magically cleared fir them! Well done, why do not something like this happen where I am!
I love Irish music and culture. I know that I have some Irish in me but I'm not sure how much but I don't care. If someone told me that I had won an all expense paid trip to Ireland, I'd be packed and ready before you could say "Riverdance". I actually plan on going to England and Ireland someday. Hopefully soon. But back to this video, I just have one thing to say. Good music, impressive dancing, and great organization.
BEAUTIFUL TO WATCH ON A COLD DAY, ALBEIT A SUNNY ONE, HERE IN TORONTO. THANK YOU TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF IRELAND. BLESSINGS.
Cool!! These kids are adorable and wow, can they dance. Good job youngsters.
I'm truly amazed at the talent of these young folks... fantastic job
I absolutely love these Flash Mob dances! So much fun!
Oh, how I love that dance! Living in the United States, I’ve never seen them in person, but I sure hope someday I get to see them in person.
Pretty ladies and great dancing... All that was needed was Mairead Nesbitt on fiddle playing the reels while dancing along LOL
Love the Irish dancing.
sehr schön, ich Liebe Ireland :)
awesome, amazing...a million thanks to those young people and their talent! Loved it!
Amazing stuff....love flash mobs they bring so much joy
Great Stuff !! From a South African of Irish origin
The social distancing is very good with Irish dancing, I love it!!
It was amazing I love watching it and wish to learn this dance.. love Ireland 💚
Don't care what it's called - flash mob or surprise performance - there's great dancing, by fine young people - and they make others happy. I love Irish dancing - and that comes from an Italian. When you receive a gift of free entertainment, I say, enjoy, appreciate and for goodness sake - SMILE!!!
its this kind of stuff that makes you enjoy life
The one thing I would like to point out is this, the steps of each dance are not so easy to learn and not so easy as it looks. The steps are quite convoluted. I know this, I grew up in Ireland and was enrolled in Irish dancing lessons at the age of 5, (as was every other little girl was) unfortunately it was discovered I had two left feet................. I applaud each of these dancers. Each one of you made this dance steps seem like they were an afterthought. Well done! Brilliant job. And thank you all for sharing this. This is one of my favorite CZcams videos!
Same, I spent 10 years in Irish Dancing lessons and still have just as much skill as I did when I started.
I think that applies to a lot of national dance. No matter if it's Irish, Scottish, Greek, Russian or countless other Nationalities who have really complicated steps in their national dance
Ger 1107 I’m Irish, 3D gen American, and still as always, have 2 left feet! Luckily, I have Irish cousins who can dance!
Ah, but the truly incapacitated are those who cannot feel the power and integrity as you do.
What a joy to have been there! Thanks a bunch for sharing. Love the music.
i have irish roots very proud
So you should be 👏✌
1st of all Im an American, just found Im 40% Irish, the other 60% is from 10 other regions of the World.. So proud, my 1st St Patrick's Day as an Irishman.
Many Irish migrated to North America. No wonder U.S.A. is so wonderful and strong.
@@StarCoded 1st of all about 2 yrs ago I had my DNA checked so I could see where my Ancestors were from. I found out ALL my ancestors were in America by 1740. Im definitely ALL AMERICAN, but proud Im more Irish 40% than "many" other of my "ancestors" 60% from, England, Wales, Scotland, Belgium, Prussia, Congo, Spain, France, Italy, and the Netherlands. They migrated from Europe & Africa to the British Isles then on to The States. Americans ancestors are from all over the World. My family is full of Red hair, my Mother had Red hair. 🇮🇪 🇺🇸
WOW....all that fancy footwork and still in perfect sync. Amazing!
Feckin' brilliant, so it was!!!!
Fair play to them Dubs!!!
I'm 53 years YOUNG, all my life I've wanted to learn to Tap. Then when Flash Mobs came to view I Wanted & wished so badly I could be in one. This dance of the Irish is so AMAZING. If I could learn now this or other Irish dances like this with tapping, OMGSH! I'd have my bucket list complete. Still to be in a FLASHMOB. I thank that's a dream to big, so far out of my reach. But... I can still dream. All of you in this video are so Amazing. I envy you.
awesome, what a treat for the travellers!
Wow. this is amazing... Complete bright spot in my day.
I wish things like this happened more often... especially in such a usually stressful place- I'm sure this made a lot of people smile!
Thanks so much for this!d
Very very very beautiful !!!!
Bravo! From Kentucky.
Same.
+Robert Walker same
I don't have any Irish genes but
My Irish genes are tingling
Yes, it's a spiritual thing. I think that's what they're here to teach us.
What a wonderful welcome to Ireland! Love it :)
Irish dancing is literally one of the coolest things ever!
There's no other word but "fantastic"
Do you remember those days when we could all come and go as we pleased and we thought nothing of it ? Well, slowly but surely, those days are returning, I'm off to Dublin this week for the first time in a long while, and I'll raise a glass to all those who have made it possible.
such talent
Excellent. What a treat for all the travellers! Great idea and well done to all the dancers.
God bless the next generation.
THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I have always loved that form of Tap Dancing. Mostly due to the fact I’m 83% Irish. But 46 years old and two left feet don’t help mist her.
So awesome and beautiful!
what a joy
Bravoooooo!!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Michael Flatley Mania. He raised dancing to another level.
Talk about light on the feet! Amazing.

Aww the old man holding flowers at the end😢..........Amazing dance btw
♥️
I have not been fortunate enough to go to Dublin, but if I were, this is exactly what I would hope to see. My daughter went to Dublin on St. Paddy's Day a few years ago and she saw a group of men dressed as Leprechauns. She was delighted. The maternal line of my family is Irish, Scotch and Cherokee. xo
..awesome dance..fabulos to watch! Regards Ireland...

Beautiful dance
It looks sooo amazing and happens in such a quick moment, but it's super hard to do... Nevermind, after learning the traditional tap dancing I will train my feet to be as fast as these Irish tap dancers! Love Ireland! 🇮🇪
I love the Irish dancing as much as I love the Newfie Jig dancing. 👏👏👏😊😊😊
