I currently have a 1958 Coupe DeVille with tri-power. I love the sound and performance of that engine. When you started this series i was not sure what you were going to do. You did it all perfect! My old Cadillac mentors would enjoy this if they were still alive. Thank you so much for making this old Cadillac Craftsman happy!!

Had to smile when he tried to fire it up and got a carb backfire. Had a similar experience 62 years ago when a buddy and I rebuilt his '50 Merc flathead after we graduated from high school and he used a cash graduation gift to finance the rebuild. First time ever for both of us. We were working in a drive-through granary shed with a few hand tools and a chain hoist. Having no engine stand we reinstalled the rebuilt engine and the first time we cranked it got fire shooting out of the top of the carb. Took us a while to figure out that the distributor was 180 out.

It's worth it, Davin and company. It's worth the hours, the effort and the expense.
Nobody else is doing what Hagerty is doing with this series. Best show on Hagerty, right here.
