@@TheGemmyRepairGuy some later generation 02 models have them. They’re still in an ornament box with a demo plug, but they say 2002 on the back. Some later models that still have a demo plug are also in blue boxes, which also say 2002. The 03 models have the switch with them.
@@TheGemmyRepairGuy oh yeah, the frostys are like that. For some reason they got left out of the algorithm that the other spinners went through. I really don’t understand why they still even used the demo plugs until 05, would’ve costed more and the on demo mold is already in the base lol.
When I saw the spinning arm on yours, I was thinking it could be the biggest gear in the mechanism. I had the big gear split in my two song which other than the lights were the only thing wrong. I haven't really cut open the arm, but it seems like it works just about the same as opening the back. Nice video!
Thanks! The big gear on it is luckily in pretty good condition. Someone needs to get the gear and 3d print new ones so we can have them whenever they break. My legged snowman’s was broken originally and if I remember correctly, I took a washer and superglued it around the gear while it was off the shaft. Then I put some around the crack as well. I let it fry for a few days and then put it on and it works.
Same problem on mine! Fixed it and works great!
Edit: i did this on another guy and it fixed most of it i will look into it maybe
Great!
My 02 frosty was exactly like this, it was slow and loud. Now it's very smooth and fast
Yea, I’ve seen countless 02 models that have bad gears. Luckily they switched to belts in later 02 models.
They switch to belts in 03

I havea 3d printer! I will probably try to model one as the big gear is stripped in the spinning arm of my snow woman.
Nice repair!
Thanks!
Nice
