I'm going to see Nickelback in the Manchester arena unfortunately for the last time because I'm becoming more ill, so I've been to 6 concerts and have enjoyed watching everyone off them, so please too be going to this one with my daughter 😊❤❤going to keep on rolling 😅
I can not speak for others I only can speak for myself. I do not hate Nickelback but I do not love them either. And I never will be a Nickelback fan or will go to a Nickelback show. And the reasons are quite simple. Whenever I hear that Nickelback released something new I'm wondering what it will be. Rock? Metal? Pop? Bubblegum Rock? I've heard only two songs of the new album: "St. Quentin" and "Those Days". While "St. Quentin" is almost a Metal song, "Those Days" is almost a Pop song. Nickelback's music isn't constant enough to win me completely over. And that's the reason why I'm always biased when I listen to their music. Just take AC/DC for example. You know what you get when a new album is announced. Of course a lot of people are saying that every song sounds the same and they only released the same album over and over again and only changed the title. But as long as I love that style of music it's fine for me. It's straight forward Rock music and there aren't much changes in their style over the past decades. Same goes for a lot of other bands. Imagine Metallica would release an album that is a mix of 'almost pop' and 'almost metal' music. If Metallica had started their career with such a mix they never would have made it big. Metallica got so much hate when they released 'St. Anger' because nobody liked that music. It wasn't what fans expected and what Metallica was known for. For me, the only band that was able to mix all kinds of genre's on a single album and would be loved by their fans anyway was Queen. Why? Because fans expected these different styles. And there was Freddie. He was the constant part. Sorry for the long read and I hope everything (or at least a few things) made sense. English isn't my native language (hence sorry for probably poor English).

@Werner Poeschl so why take the time to write such a long comment about music you apparently dislike? They're one of the greatest bands, and yes I said bands. Also, if you were a fan you'd know why they chose the music they did for this album - we were dealing with a pandemic and they decided to try something different like many artists do. Heck, look at Taylor Swift, Kid Rock (lol), Aerosmith's Steven Tyler (lets not forget "Walk This Way" w/Run DEC), Machine Gun Kelly, Katy Perry (started with Christian music!), Darius Rucker from Hootie & the Blowfish, Garth Brooks - yep, he tried to getting into the pop/rock scene too, Gwen Stefani, and then there's these 2 guys: singer from Staind -Aaron Lewis, whom went on his own from metal to country, AustinJohn Winkler -the ex-lead singer from Hinder who sang & wrote "Lips Of An Angel" who has done different genres in his own & his new song dropped "The Dance" on 1/6 and then we have the Bluegrass, country man Willie Nelson who has dabbled in just about every genre I think. There's many more artists out there too that have done many but anyway...these guys threw the songs that they did during pandemic & put them out there. Yes, they're different and far from "Feed The Machine" and way different from "Curb" which was their first album in the beginning. "High Time" really surprised me but it's a bit catchy and fun and that's what we needed...we need fun, especially after the world was on lockdown, don't we? Jeez, dude, I can go on about their music and yes I've liked their music since the beginning. I've said enough & went a little off in another direction but I'm just tired of people commenting about their music. One other thing I gotta say is look at the awards they've won, money they made etc. Have a good day/night.
Maybe it may be that's why so many people hate them...it sucks, people can say whatever they want, all of kind of crap, but I don't care about it! I'll always love NB, no matter what these people tell me about this rock band that's and always will be my favorite!
Chad is an amazing singer and is absolutely killin it! I got into Nickelback thanks to San Quentin and Those Days and Those Days really helped me get through a few sad days, ngl. I absolutely love this band now and have MASSIVE respect for them. Hope to catch 'em live for a Get Rollin' Tour!!! Love ya Nickelback! \M/

When you are completely passed your sad days listen to Just One More off of this album. The words are incredible. I lost my little angel 2 years ago and the song helps me not feel alone. They you can cheer up with Standing in the Dark
Chad looks happy to be performing. I know when nickleback was the band to hate he would walk out of shows. Glad he’s fucking feeling himself and the amazing music he and the band write together. Congrats nickleback 🎉
He literally only walked out on one show and that was when they were booked to be part of a metal festival. He had rocks thrown at his head. Other then that he loves to perform and one of the bands that wouldn’t cancel shows.
