    "How does one commit to practise consistently? What is the benefit of waking early? One of the things that makes me efficient is waking early. I usually am in a better state of mind when I find that quiet time in the early mornings. "
    - Rukmini
    The Raadha Kalpa Method is a comprehensive training program for Bharatanatyam devised by Rukmini Vijayakumar through her years of research on the mechanics of movement within the Bharatanatyam vocabulary. The philosophy of the training system lies in developing a neutral body and mind such that the dancer is able to be versatile and malleable within performance.
    The program is primarily offered at the LshVa Studios, run by the Raadha Kalpa Dance company in Bangalore.

    Agree completely, I love waking up early. The world is quieter and I'm so productive. I wish I lived in a country that understood the value of afternoon naps for grown-ups!

    Very true. Have always started my day at 4.45 am. Since my professorial life involves "mind work"- I'm a professor - I start off with a one hour work out that includes jogging and some pushups. Has worked perfectly for me all these years. Am in my late 40s.

    Morning Time has gold in its mouth.
    An hour in the morning = two hours during the rest of the day.
    Real life Mathematics!
    I have never slept beyond
    4 - 30 when young.
    Now I get up at 5 and gain extra time multiplied by 2.

    Waking up early is in consonance laws of Physics because during the time (you mention as Brahma Muhurat- Time of Brahma- meaning 'time of Creation') we a human experience maximum centrifugal force because Earth velocity is changing at the maximum rate due to change in direction of velocity occurring due to axial rotation of Earth, If anyone have studied Physics at 11 level, will understand what I mean "change of tangential velocity" of the surface of earth, at maximum rate, around 3.30 am, thereby producing maximum centrifugal force (it's real force, that can be measured in non inertial frame of reference only)
    My experience says that if you're spirituality has worked to take away 'burden of thoughts'- you are bound to wake around 3:30am because you cannot resist experiencing centrifugal force of that phase in your body)

      This is soooo true and interestingly I do not even need an alarm clock (which is best of course since I do not like to wake others up). I am just wakened around 3:20 to 3:40 am every single day.

    • @koyelachakrabarti
      @koyelachakrabarti Před 2 lety

      And to add to that, I keep that early morning hour for meditation and I can feel a clear simple harmonic motion left to right in my body when I delve deeper into my practice without my body actually moving in the eyes of an observer.

      @1717rajesh Před 2 lety

      @@koyelachakrabarti If I am not to be misunderstood for my statement of facts, the early morning changes in male body is due to this increased centrifugal force , experienced by the organs.

    I am a student n I try my best to wake up at 4 and I don't face any problem in waking up..however .. after waking up I feel so soo sleepy😪 though I drink water ... Walk lil bit ... May b 4-4:30 I should completely dedicate that time to prepare myself ... Instead of sitting straight to study

    Excellent summary. A period of meditation (even 10 minutes) in the morning binds the Body, Mind and Spirit (BMS) while also connecting with the SOURCE. Once these four areas are aligned, streamlined, productivity is enhanced
    Also try to sit not lie down - put a timer on and shut down the system. Even 10 minutes is brought and that again aligns the BMS within & with the source.

    In the west where I live, I find the hand gestures people use in conversation confusing/distracting/forced. Yours, however are not, I thank you for that. You have very beautiful hands. An aspect of your point, is that although it might not be easy, and require practice, that mindful path is a choice that does indeed have benefit. Again, thank you, I enjoy listening to you.

      You can go with very light sugary snacks, mostly fruits, like dates, banana, apple, raisins, cocconut water, soaked almonds, walnut etc Don't take cereals in early morning, take it only after 9 am.

    This is really weird... My sleep pattern is very similar. However, most times I wake up at 3.30 am. Sometimes, I will do 4.30
    Definitely, this is a great advice...I usually move on with my practices, until is time to go to work.

    Brahma mahurat is good for people especially if their mind collects rubbish all day and it gets clogged as day progresses. Then you cant think. But a man of meditation does not have that issue. His brahama mahurat can be anything he pleases. His mind is like a mirror, whatever he perceives, reflects as a pic and disappears as he moves attention from away. Your mind is like a camera, it takes pic of everything you see and plays in the background. That cloggs up your mind. Aapko hindi aati toh maza aa jata, mukhe canada ya tamil nahi ata.
