The Man Who Would Not Die is a kickass album with great cover art
Great metal album, so glad Blaze is back🤘
I like all the Blaze solo albums since his trilogy started with Infinite Entanglement
For years I ignored the X Factor and Virtual XI albums just because they didn’t feature Bruce Dickinson, then I sampled some songs from the X Factor online and decided to buy the cd’s of both albums Blaze sang on and I love them both. I’ve since been collecting Blaze Bayley cd’s and eagerly await the arrival of Circle of Stone which I have on order. I’ve heard most of the songs on it already and love them. Thanks for this great video!🤘🏻😈
They have a couple of great tracks. But some of them are horrible mostly because of Blaze singing out of tune.
He really shines in his deeper register. The high notes.. not so much.
Hearing the health scare Blaze Bayley suffered last year, it is so great to hear him cranking out a really good album. I also like the new Bruce Dickinson album too. It’s hard to pick which one I like better because they both are really good albums. It’s been a great year in music so far and we are barely into March.
I like Blaze and Bruce solo stuff, I like all Maiden eras. Both Blaze and Bruce new albums are great. By the way, The X Factor is one of my favorite Maiden's albums.
Good review Brendon. A strong follow up to the exceptional album that came before it. Blaze and the lads continue their fine form here. It's probably my most listened to album this year so far. I've been a fan of Blaze since I got a copy of Best of the beast twenty odd years ago.
I love both albums he did with Maiden and saw him on the Virtial tour.
amazing album .. great job with review!!
Blaze Bayley As live as it gets, kicks ass
I have to agree. Great album.
Amazing album I love it I'm a big Iron Maiden fan for many years , so Blaze makes two great albums with band back in the days , I believe a lot of Maiden fans like it , and follow Blaze solo career.
I think his albums with the band are seen in a far better light today than they were upon original release. Glad he is still able to go out and play to the fan base.
@@BrendonSnyder Absolutely true Brendon.
Call of the ancestors is so beautiful I love the bagpipes at the beginning
He's got an excellent back catalogue and very underrated , saw him live in Bradford last year and he and the excellent Absolva gave it all despite the small gig size. Great value too !
This is better than the new Bruce Dickinson album imo. Blazes catalogue is underrated, very even and consistent.
Blaze is so underrated. His albums are killer slabs of Maiden style music. He really should have a bigger fan base than he does.
I agree ☝️ Blaxe album smokes.
kickass album greattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttno1
As I’m listening to this album, a second time after your review, and my honest opinion, this is the album of the year so far
I do think Blaze's album is more Metal than Bruce's project. The songs are energetic bordering on frenetic at times and just when they get to the edge he pulls out a balad to cool things down a little. Great sequencing on side "A". The second side is good, especially the guitarists. The biggest drawback on the album IMO is the vocals. Blaze performs well. Maybe among his best vocals ever. I'm not a big fan of his voice though. He has a lower, "bassier" voice. He does sing very well with it but, it does distract me a bit. I've been trying to get used to Blaze's voice for a number of years. I can listen to him now (that's major progress over the Maiden days) but, it's not really clicking with me in a way that could move him up into my regular rotation of artists. I guess my go to bands and artists are a tough group to crack into. This album is worthy of all the praise it's recieving. Musically exciting and full of twists and turns. It may be a bit derivative but, it's very well done.
Not a fan of Blaze's voice either, in fact one of the worst shows I've ever seen was when he was in Maiden.
Im only familiar with the previous Blaze album. Loved that, heard you mention it. Definitely interested in getting more. Good music keeps coming ✊️
It's a very good album . The 6th song "The Broken Man" is one of my favorites .
Thank you Brendon!
I hope you'll have a great day!
"The fantastic _X Factor."_
Bro, what? 🤨
Yes indeed! 🤘
Anything is better then the new dickinson cd😢
What? You’re crazy! The new Bruce Dickinson is fantastic!
@@BrendonSnyderno..it's awful
Fantastic album
Brandon, I didn’t see you with a physical copy? Is there a story there?
It’s back ordered 😭
Awesome. 🤘😎🤘
Released the same day as Bruce's new one... Coincidence? Hmm... Haven't heard this yet to be fair so will reserve judgement...
The added promotion of each one can only help both artists. I don’t think Bruce needed the help but Blaze could use some added attention so it was brilliant on his part to release it on the same day.
I think The X Factor was the best Blaze era Maiden album. Look For The Truth is a killer track.
I love The X Factor and think it’s one of the best Maiden albums overall.
When I first heard, Wolfsbane I thought even back then and had to ask is that Bruce singing on that album.
There’s one track that I’d skip but good album, 7.5/10. His voice is a bit too upfront for me in the mix. C’mon Blaze, let us hear the instruments too.
That’s kind of his thing. His voice is always upfront. Of course when you have a voice like is that’s ok. 👍
blaze new album is much better than the awful new dickinson album
Honestly very weak album, couple tracks is ok but overall 2 out of 5 or 4 out of 10
Wow I totally feel the complete opposite. I’m loving this album through and through.
@@BrendonSnyderI really like album before , much stronger in my opinion.
Can’t stand his voice. I wish Iron Maiden would re-record his 2 albums with them with Bruce singing.
Then why did you watch the video?
Как был он без голоса так и остался, совершенно не интересный альбом такой простенький хэви металльчик для подростков, все песни одинаковые! До Брюса Дикинсона ему далеко ! Очередной проходной альбом,я его даже на болванку CD-R записывать не буду!
