    João Fonseca has everything it takes to be in the top 10 in a few years. I watched the game and saw that he has the mind of a champion. He didn't get upset because he lost the first set and turned the game around easily. What impressed me most about him is the determined look of someone who wants to go far. Good luck to him.

    Stunned Since I watched first round match of Fonseca in Rio. This kid got potential, omg. Brave game style and such a power already. Reminds me a bit of alcaraz when he was 17. No real pressure, all these matches are a gift in these days for him. Lets see how he develops, but for sure big big top 10 potential

    Trying to figure out why a 16-yo ranked outside the top 1000 is getting wild cards into the main draw of Masters events. A bagel and a breadstick is to be expected; kid is 0-3 in Challenger events and hasn't exactly set the ITF on fire either.

      This is the problem with 🎾 as a business. IMG and many other “players” have their finger on the scales to swing things their way. Corruption like this has broken the sport. Needs a total makeover. Great young players from developing nations get no support.
