Someone mentioned in another video is that the reason he's comfortable being goofy and himself around her dispite the lack of romantic chemistry is because he's usually with indie movie peers who are regarded as more talented and serious/intimidating in their mannerisms and Z is so mainstream and huge in pop culture which Timmy can relate to cause he also loves mainstream stuff like fashion,music and the internet

Tim may be intimidated a bit by her experience, but he does have a friendship with her after working as her love interest in 2 different movies. Z is also down to earth but she also is funnier than Saoirse. Her background is in comedy after all. She's also a musician & Tim just loves music and they like the same kind of music. Timmy could work with someone that just started acting and he wouldn't feel such at ease as he feels with Z

Since I saw people confused about the timelines of everything… Here is an overview of what Ive seen from fans who have made VERY (a bit too obsessive) timelines hahaha.
- Tom met Timothee first and became friends before Dune began filming
- Dune Filming took place between March and July 2019, with Zendaya only being there for about a week. She even said she was only there for 4 days. It was most likely more at the beginning of shooting since she was doing a lot of press for Spider-Man from May to July.
- Zendaya dated Jacob E from around August/Sept 2019 till at least June 2020. Zendayas mom started making a lot of posts about toxic people then.
- No one actually knows the truth, but many long term fans suspect that Tom and Zendaya dated from end 2016 till may/june 2019. Fans only know this because one of Toms best friends (ex) girlfriend talked about it and “exposed” them. Both have unfollowed the ex gf since.
- Fans think they got back in touch in july/august 2020 based on social media habits. Fans assume that tom and his gf of like 4/5 months broke up in august because the gfs mom unfollowed Tom, the gf unfollowed Tom and began unfollowing people who posted pictures of Zendaya. The ex gf tweeted about trying to be happy for exes… Even one of her friends posted on social media saying tom broke up with her to get back with Z. So 🤷♀️
- Tom was filming Uncharted till end of October and by October 25?27? he was in Atlanta to film the next Spider-man. There was a lot of rumors from then till July when they were caught in the car

I've always said they're outward appearance and shared sense of humor made them a perfect match. I feel like Timothee has that street, New York humor that's witty, sarcastic, and quick and Zendayas humor is the same exact way. i think his early interviews were him, you could see he was squirrely because he was nervous as hell in certain interview situations, and you can still see some of the nervous, fidgety things he does but they are much less now because he’s more comfortable. but he’s still fidgety. even jn the gma thing you showed here he was still fidgeting. some people are just nervous in these situations, and I have long suspected he could have some social anxiety or even adhd… ive picked up on a lot of characteristics that indicate that. i do think zendaya does bring out the good in him tho in that having another person there really helps make him less anxious. i noticed that a lot when he would do interviews with someone else be it armie or saoirse etc

While I agree that the speculation could be harmful to Tom and Zendaya’s relationship, anyone versed enough in dating can see that Timothee is heavily infatuated with Zendaya. Denying this is denying reality.
Timothee name dropping Tom is actually a form of Timothee attempting to project confidence about something he is secretly a bit sad about. Any man who’s had a crush on a female best friend knows that this is a coping mechanism.
Based on her handling of the situation, Zendaya is likely a very loyal person and not cheating on Tom, but I don’t think it’s impossible that - god forbid, the two were to separate at some point - Timothee and Zendaya could be an item.
Just my 2 cents. I hope Zendaya and Tom stay together. They seem like a good pair and I feel a bit bad for Tom, being constantly compared and contrasted against someone who is essentially the new male sex symbol.

Some people speculate that the 2 of them have something going on cause they shoot dune while Zendaya was single ( from her breakup with tom from may 2019 until march 2021) and now that she's with tom again they act friendly but keep their distance because tom and Zendaya met on set and got into a relationship the same way
