There's one more stall inside, AH POH BA CHOR MEE. I think out of the three stalls, AH POH is the best. (having lived here since 2001)
Fun fact: You can order Mee Tai Mak or Kway Teow if Mee Kia isn't your thing.

I have tried better versions, the 3 BCM stalls @ Blk 85 dont serve hot enuf soups 'cos they mix it with water before adding hot water/soup base. I am an ardent fan of BCM, it has a homey taste to it, reminds me of my childhood days... There is one Ah Soon BCM @ Blk 123 Bedok North n another at Blk 477 Tampines Street 43 ( My father's BCM ). These 2 stalls add dumplings ( with fried fish chips n garlic oil in the dumpling ) to the BCM. As I dont like meatballs so I prefer these 2 stalls. To me BCM must come with meat dumplings otherwise they are NOT authentic. Personally, I prefer Ah Soon BCM cos the minced pork in the soup comes in lumps n the auntie there cooks it with love ( consistently )... They add alot more fried garlic bits n Chinese parsley ( kng chye ) which brings the taste to a higher level. The one @ Blk 477 Tampines opens till 9 pm. Enjoy your BCM.
