Thank You bro
Thanks🙏
I took my 14 year old son to this show. He did'nt know his old man(I'm now 50) could hang...
john lacour, too funny. My kids didn’t have a clue until they went to a show and found out their dad was bat shit crazy.
Awesomeness
Hold Your Form!!
God bless you man💪🏼
john lacour I’m like the only grandfather in the crowd who’s grandson is in the crowd! Lol
The pure unbridled youthful joy of hardcore. ..... feels the same no matter how old we get. Powerful and intelligent.
This is what a crowd is supposed to look like
Exactly
It was better here in 2011
2012
If you go to a show and see a smart phone held up smash on sight
Yep!
Seen from Japan
Respected in Japan
I have always loved this band
I hope the world is peaceful
Always remember: when you attend a hardcore show If there is any separation between the band and the crowd, then it's not hardcore show!
It's really really hard to find something to hate on this band. Just pure hardcore and fun and positive energy!!!!!!
So true. Civ did a couple of tattoos for me back in the early 90's. One of the nicest guys you could ever meet.
Rest In Peace, Alex. Love you, buddy.
authoritease is he in this video?? Been a fan of GB since the 80s but not sure what band m ed member is which other then walter and civ. Know what all the proskaters from that area look.like just not hardcore dudes. Which one is he??
My CZcams Channel Of course. He's at stage right, always. Wearing shorts, orange sneakers, stars on his guitar strap. A bit of a closeup around 10:40. Incredible musician (GB, Side By Side, Project X, co founder of Schism Fanzine and Records,) an incredible artist, and truest friend ---- alexbrownart (dot) com/index/
They just zoomed in on him during the New Direction and it hit me immediately that he’s gone. So sad
@@myyoutubechannel9099 Hey man, I got to know Alex really well in the last years of his life, he was an absolute LAD. When the set first starts at 0:15 he is the one with his arms up closest to the trumpets. He was in a few other bands, I would definitely recommend checking out Project X - Straight Edge Revenge
Man, this is so energetic. I feel blessed been the opening act with my band three decades ago for GB. Awesome like back in the days!
Probably the best hardcore band ever
killer Joe *madball
Minor threat.
Yes, indeed Minor Threat is the best hardcore band ever, nobody can compare. Of course that's just my opinion. There's some great live footage on YT like here...czcams.com/video/0aLUPhvJG5Y/video.html For all ya'll comparing pits & such check out 8:20 of that video and 10:55...in fact the whole video is highly worth watching. This is/was the beginning of hardcore, Ian coined the phrase "hardcore" for the first time to separate punk rock from hardcore punk. This is where it all began, kids! Gorilla Buiscuits, Cro Mags, Agnostic Front, Snapcase, Turnstile, Madball, Have Heart, Earth Crisis...all hardcore bands can trace their heritage to Minor Threat. Enjoy the video cause they'll NEVER reunite, even though they could.
Not.even.close.
Sick of it All, all day long.

How many shows do you see the crowd dead silent when the lead singer is talking between songs? It just never happens. Amazing.
sittin round at home always stood out to me as one of the best tracks on nychc where the wild things are compilation...glad to see that civ put out one of the best hc albums of all time...set your goals forever!!!!!
OMG, THIS IS FUCKING BEAUTIFUL
I'm gonna cry, THIS is so beautiful. I have finally an opportunity to see them live!! Hopefully see you guys in Warsaw
Ive seen this clip so many times, and it gives me a great big grin every time. There is so much awesomeness here.
This was such a fun set. I’ve seen them multiple times and they just get better each time I see them.
Lol at the guy at 1:40 who used the dude as a ladder hahahaha
why are grown men running up on stage and jumping on top of other grown men? mental disorder? culture deficiency?
Cause its fucking fun
Jeremy P I thought this was the coolest shit ever as a kid... I love the music but not the crowd surfing
JACKSIXFOUR lmao lmao
Welcome to Phil boys
That Death Metal kid on New Direction got it on point at 1:24.
This concert is a beautiful thing!
My whole youth was more of a death metal scene. I feel like I missed out. This looks fun.
Same, but I got my share of hardcore shows. Most fun I ever got from any gig are those crazy hardcore mosh pits and energetic hardcore punk beats and power chords (Vitamin X and Coke Bust were crazy). No metal gig has got me that hyped. But I adore both, I carry them in my heart.
@@iachtulhu1420 Yeah for most of high school I mostly listened to metal but the culture/live experience of hardcore totally won me over and now I listen to way more hardcore than metal, still love both though
wow. one of the best live concert vids I've seen. Pure energy flow going on from stage to the back. You can see it. I wish I was there. LOVE the no security goons.
I wanted to be at this show so bad...holy shit, this is so awesome seeing younger ppl & the older (like me) in that tribal unity pit & mindset..it's like a hyper old school show... wow just awesome! I'll stop babbling.
I was going to post something similar. I like seeing the young kids getting into songs from album I discovered in my late teens or early twenties..can't remember now. It was somewhere between 89 and 91.
Man watching it is almost just like being there. Gives me goose bumps. I love this culture man. Inside thing for sure, you feel it or you don’t understand it
Seen them at the Dyer Roller Rink in Dyer Indiana when I was in my 20’s. The show was IN-TENSE !!!!
Wow So did I. 👍 Still live in Dyer
Amazing band one of my all time favorite punk bands. I’m not even really a straight edge hardcore kid I’m more of a skater kid now a grown up, but they’re just amazing.
man, can't believe i missed GB getting back together.... I got into GB just before they ended and then CIV came together which I did see live. But it wasn't the same. I missed so many dope reunion shows, wish I would have paid more attention to what was going on in the scene the older I got.
Great upload! A real crowd, and GB still sounds epic.
You all shoot the best concert videos. Didn’t you also shoot the last Wrecking Ball Fest in Atlanta? I was at that one. I’d love the complete show for GB, Burn, Quicksand, etc. Keep up the great work
Damn, they look like a lot of fun. Hope I get to see them in new York some time.
Damn the speech at 6:00 is haunting cuz that's what happening rn
problem is, the elitists push this nobility brainwashing (blm, fake pandemic masks, etc.) in order to create a teamwork strategy by tearing down individual thought.
@@darinp5612 The masks are good tho lol
@@darinp5612 lol you fell for the infowars bullshit. Shame. You were so close. But instead you have become another alt right chud, just as pathetic as the bootlickers of liberal capitalism.
@@neighborhoodmusicsnob5517 what does infowars have to do with rational and critical thinking skills?
@@darinp5612 nothing. What does a failed comedian like Crowder have to do with rationality either?
How could anyone give this a thumbs down? This video is full of nothing but positivity.
probably because of what he said about black lives matter unfortunately.
probably because of the retarded commie symbolism
This kind of positivity has saved my life more than once.
Goosebumps throughout this whole show...i wish i could be there, it rlly sucks being 19 into this music when no one my age knows anything abt punk hardcore or rock in general😕
same here bro
fuuck i feel you dude
Hey, I'm 51 and still going. Glad to see the next crew coming up. Cheers lads.
People are out there. Open format and college radio stations, house show scenes, stuff like that. I'll agree, I'm in my late 40's now, and it almost seems like it was easier to find stuff when I was 16 (although I was DC adjacent), and we didn't have any sort of social media other than word of mouth, 'zines, and flyers to the next show. But you can find it if you put in the effort, even in the sleepiest of towns sometimes.
Young brother, I'm amazed at how out there any kind of heavy music especially hardcore and punk is today compared to when I was your age. If only in online accessibility! Haha...you couldn't just go down to the local music store and buy any old hardcore. Oh, you'd find SOIA, Slapshot, maybe Judge, but unless you were able to get to the shows or had an "underground" music place accessible to you, that was a wrap. I was blessed to have wnhu new Haven CT college radio that got me into all kinds of hard music as they would play almost 11 straight hours of metal punk hardcore every Saturday into Sunday. Where I was there were maybe 5 kids into hc and they had cool parents that let them go to shows. I did not. Strict parents not letting me go out to meet people killed it back then. There were no online chats, forums or websites. You got to the show and met people that was it. I'm sorry you are having issues like you are, search online and you might find people in your area you didn't know existed! ✊✊
I wasn't a big Gorilla Biscuits fan back in the day, but this is a no-bullshit DAMNED GOOD SHOW. Wish I coulda been there.
this is what I always imagined a GB show would be like when I first listened to this album in the mid nineties
Dave Weatherwax, it was an adventure.
Best HC band ever
No chance , it has to be Sum41
This HC for millennial snowflakes
Ryan Cunningham gorilla biscuits have been around since 87. Shows how much you know about our scene. Besides, in my day, being called a "snowflake" just meant youre unique
Absofuckinglutely
They’re definitely one of the greats for sure, their music still holds up today.
Fuxking awesome...can't say no more..seen Tony when he was in civ and he came to the uk to play..in Manchester they did can't wait 1 minute more and I was on stage and he gave me the mic..lol..Happy days.
YEAHHHHH - great especially the orignal-intro!!!!

One of the best hands down-talent and attitude

Great crowd!! No one is hitting the floor there. 10/10.
R.I.P. Alex
The best Boiler Room ever
knew they are an historical band but for some reasons never listener to them too much. always been more into more aggressive metal punk stuff in all their shapes and genres and subgenres. but crazy to see all these people going so mad. one of the hc band i ve always loved and never found boring on the contrary they got better and better witg their last 2 lps Sick of it All.
This was a lot a fun :)
Mike Judge behind the horns 🤘
This reminds me of seeing Agnostic Front and Sick of it All back in 89. This is a fucking solid show.
90's flashbacks for me. I'm sure 80's for a lot of you.
the crossover was a success
Que energia!!
I saw GB live before I had ever heard them thanks to my ex back then. After her and I broke up, I listened to them again out of being sad and the memory and FUCK am I mad I didn't know them when I saw them.
RIP Alex 🙏🏽
Love the flower gobos.
Thank fuck I found this today, sober another fkn day
You know what it just dawned on me , I think the early days AFI like answer that and very proud of ya had major GB influence
52 and been listening to GB since I was 17.
Rip Alex Brown
GB changed my whole life :)
🤣 is it weird that at 53 years old i got goose bumps when they started playing Minor Threat?
Yo,That's some 80's shit son💪🏼
CIV: Arthur
Audience: Meow
hahahaha don't know why it's freaking funny
Helo brothers where i can search HC music ,just to jump on it
Pas une seule ride ,best band group
Such a Force and so much fun!
What happened to the drums sound?
To be honest with you, hardcore lyrics and passion is how this country was founded and how everyone should live there lives.
HC lives forever
Love it from England 👍
america is crazy!! i have never seen a show like this in Germany
Drache bist du es?
Ich bin der Rainer, rainer mit AI gans wichtig
Didn't you see the Destruction, Angel Dust, and Tankard show in 1987?
Angel Dust?! In 1987 lel
I still have the flier from that show in Germany. PCP and Smirnoff Vodka presents: Destruction, Angel Dust and Tankard some date in 1987. I was not there.
