I want to say that Scorpions are magnificent, interesting creatures and I would never harm one that was out in the desert doing it’s thing in its own domain, however, we have little dogs and it’s important to keep our yard free from potential dangers for all of us.

First of all, you really need to paint those guns up to look like movie props.
Second, you wanna know what else works on crawlies? 409 spray cleaner. If you don't want to spend the money for 409, shop at Dollar Tree and any of their Totally Awesome spray cleaners work for a buck a bottle or a buck for the larger refills. Some bugs don't die instantly, but they do slow down instantly. You can knock flies out of the air with one puff of spray.

Loved it. And with the new safety you can pump as many shots as need.
Basically with a full hopper you can turn a single larger than fly bug. Into an unrecognizable pile of gore. Dry up and blow away or be snacked on overnight by other bugs.
Good Bugs and Dangerous ones out there. And 3.0 delivers with close up power and destruction.
Great for insect pests. unless they are armored. But used from tip of barrel it will decapitate armor sometimes.

I’m in Georgia, home of the infamous 2021 Japanese Joros spider invasion. 70 years old, & I’ve never seen anything like it. With no known predators at this point they multiply at insane rates. If not controlled it can become almost impossible to navigate even a moderately treed yard without having to clear one or more to pass. They’re projected to spread through Eastern states at a rapid rate, so many of you will likely be seeing (and dealing with them) soon.
Last year I knocked the webs down, but they returned. They actually covered a large portion of the front of my house with often very large webs “housing” multiple large (but colorful!) spiders. Given an option, I prefer not to use a means of control that causes a slow, painful death. The salt gun looks like a perfect alternative, especially since these spiders are stationary in their webs & thus an easy target. A bit expensive though. Maybe I’ll check EBay for used ones.
Great idea to demonstrate using aluminum foil. Very effective! Thanks.

Love'n the videos so far! Idea for a small project - A planter box for your house numbers. Assuming you only have 3 or 4 numbers for your street number you can array the numbers vertically on something like a 1x8x8 cut down so at the base you have a planter box. Maybe in that Az heat you'd put a fake plant in it, but then, I'm sure you could find something nice to place in it.

Well, I learned from this page that you can hunt scorpions at night using a black light. I am moving to AZ in a month or so, and I will take my Bug a Salt BlackFly 3.0 with me. Since I got it 2 weeks ago, I am now an avid fly hunter. I found they are active in the morning, and late afternoon, and they like to land on white paint in the sun. I am slowly learning their habits. I bought another brand laser to attach to it, and now I can shoot from the hip and hit those fat black flies. I go on fly hunts about twice a day.

We have lots of geckos in our back yard, they seem to take care of most of the bug issues.
