This and the airforce incident (both involving 707’s) was not the only time engines have been ripped from the wing. For example you have American Airlines flight 191, this issue is solved but can still happen today. I hope you aren’t terrified of boarding your plane now
191 was due to improper maintenance though.

And not to mention they lost all hydraulics and electrical functions, forced the left slats open and had no idea they were entering a stall. All while just 230 ft in the air. Not even a remotely close comparison.
