In the first video I'm just diving into the bike and disassembling along with that I'm kind of explaining my visions for the bike. Nothing crazy, super simple boring stuff actually.
I love your vision for the build. I like a nice simple build once in awhile. My daughter just bought her first bike, an 86 Shadow 500 that we are going to bob. It's just going to be a simple little bobber nothing fancy.
@@tylerhunt9129 I ALWAYS support the younger generation in custom bike building and hot rodding, after all you are the ones that are going to carry the torch on after we have left the building.
Yo man check out Justin Alexander on here he has a bunch of custom shadows all the time for some badass ideas I seen a mono the other day on his channel looked freaking sweeg dude. Anyways I have a 86 vt1100 I'm working on now thinking a bobber or stunt bike haha. I'm hoping to get a new camera soon and start a channel too. Your camera and sound quality is good on your camera. I'd deffently use a iphone at all cost if you have one there the best for filming. I'm from the honda shadow forum also haha. And I use to live in Gwinnett co worked in Lawrenceville uhaul and petsmart in Duluth. Lol. Man miss Atlanta sometimes. Keep the build up
Lmao, not doing white walls, cause white walls are gay! I feel the same way! I have the same exact bike as you, year and model! I am also doing a bobber build. Just ordered the seat and fender kit from bobbercycle.
I personally like White Walls on most bikes, But I don't always use them, depends on the vibe I'm going for on the bike. I don't like them on Shadows though, I think they get lost in the mix on Shadows.
I just subsribed! Im in the middle of doing mine too! All ive done is chop the rear like you have and i jusy bought a harbor freight motorcycle lift! Im looking forward to this build! (Btw from what ive been reading its a pain to get these shadow 600’s on a lift, if you could show how you did it it would be greatly appreciated!) looking forward to the build! Sweet miata by the way!
@@MrBetonator it’s a absolute night mare once you take the mono shock out so you kinda gotta tip the bike on its kickstand and then slide it under as much as you can and then grab the rear and slide it and shimmy it if that makes sense. i’m tempted to buy something like this but i still don’t know how much it’ll help, these bikes are stupid low ebay.to/37PtDxY
@@tylerhunt9129 what nakes it difficult is the frame being offset from the right and left side :/ from what ive read on tbe forums you have to use some kind of spacer like a 2x4 section to place under the higher side of the frame, otherwise you will be lifting off the engine or radiator hose/housing. Hopefully this weekend imma tackle that to get it off the ground and get my wheels off for powdercoat
Whitewalls are gay? So certain style choices would say something about someone's sexual orientation? Such a statement actually only says something about the limitations of your thinking.
It’s just terminology, don’t think about it too deep. Most importantly don’t be sensitive or hurt by words. May the sun shine for you tomorrow and the air be crisp.

Let's start the bike so I can push it backwards 😆...
Shadows move better while their running the brakes keep slight pressure in the pads when it's not running. Noone really know why but they do.
keep it up, lol i have the same bike just 07
You should of kept the shock . can't even see it lol
