Matt lived down the street from me, he had an awesome place right on the water on Alki Beach.
I asked where he got the money for all of that at such a young age sense the age demographic of all the neighbors happens to be about 30 years older than him, and he told me he's extremely good at making money, investing, and saving.. He's also a Saturation Diver, after doing research they bring in on average $30,000 a month.. Pretty crazy profession, living in a tube for a month, I can see why he prefers the van over a house. GREAT GUY! super proud of him for going though with the van- honestly didn't think he would, he truly seems happy! Thank you for the video Dylan Magaster..

@@donnathedead7554 ... me either! ... the extra weight adds to gas cost, strains transmissions & brakes. . . Doesnt make any sense to me, it might look nice but would make me feel like i was sleeping in a wooden coffin. . . There must be something much lighter weight & just as efficient ... like maybe curtains in place of cabinet doors, pvc pipe to build the bed frame, lightweight sheets of metal or plastic instead of wood, maybe even linoleum or thin carpet on the walls. I guess wood looks more natural & 'cool', but any material can be made to look good. When i get my rig road ready every single decision i make is going to be based on weight right down to which dishes weigh less to how many books & notebooks will go in there. Paper & books are heavy too and take up alot of space, i see some vans crammed in every nook & cranny with books which add alot of weight and i keep thinking wouldnt a kindle be much lighter weight & just as efficient. Even while researching the toilets my first consideration is the weight.
I just bought online six divided corelle plates that i've been wanting for yrs. Two plates have barely any weight but all six stacked together is surprisingly very heavy. And that point is true for most any item.

Do you need all that kitchen? You could add a more streamlined 2 cooktop to the sink side, sell the unit on the door side. And then extend the bench to where the cupboards went and put the composting toilet under the end so when you use it you can crack the door for ventilation? It'd also be better indoor/outdoor flow to have a bench seat extend to the door.

You would have to specify to the the insurance company under 'modifications' that would raise the price based on that. They are quite expensive to add these 'modifications' to the insurance policy so cover laptops etc with other such insurers. I'm sure there are companies that specialised in covering this sort of stuff just like with new drivers, exotic cars etc.

Asia country are not recommended to live in a van :( There is no free water in a road, solar panel is not a common use in my country (and it kinda expensive too), everything is expensive (because of the money currency) and we have to work after college graduation or having a part time job during college (and not all college student can do this because lots of homework, tests, etc).
    Edit:
I knew about van life since 2020, you know pandemic and quarantine period. And wow i never knew if so much people in America and in Europe are live in a car (van, rv, bus, etc), (thanks to Jennelle Eliana, I knew about van life from her at the first time). Good to you guys. I know a young couple who work 4 10 hour days in the city, then spend 3 days on the piece of land in the country that they are quickly paying off. They rent a room near work for 4 nights a week. This is great for them because it’s cheaper than an apartment and it helps the house owner with his bills. Much better idea than 30 years paying off a house. I was talking to a clerk at the bank who said he and his wife are struggling with paying on a 500k condo.
