This cannot compare to the old version....If it wasn't for Arlene I probably wouldn't watch. I loved her...

Love Convy's wardrobe/hairstyle combination: It just shouts "Hi, I'm Bert-the Mod Antichrist!"

I didn't like this new format. They gave too much attention to the first guest and not much more to the others. Also,Wally Bruner was more abrupt and actually give hints along the way. The old style was more exciting and challenging.

This was the second time the sauerkraut factory guy stumped the panel!

Maureen Stapleton was such a beautiful woman.

Airport (1970) was a good movie and a huge hit directed by George Seaton, and Maurreen did have a good part in it. Arlene is quite right, though: the thought of her in a movie about airplanes when she resolutely refused to set foot in one IS pretty funny.

Do you have the Mystery Guest, Angie Dickinson? It was aired September 22, 1968! 💛

I suspect this might have aired in the wake of her passing, which IIRC was on the same day, 3/13/2006, as Peter Tomarken.

The new version just didn't have the same magic

Maureen is a little od... the nervous way she behaves, her strange way of walking. Maybe one of those actresses who appear most normal when they portray a character.

I love Arlene a lot but it is somehow funny that she is introduced as "a young lady" when being 61 - although she looked great.

12:00 --funkiest version of Onward Christian Soldiers of 1968
12:08 -- freeze : rare shot of the spinnerets at the top of the panel backdrop.

Does anyone have the entire collection of What's My line? I'm looking for an episode from 1968 that my mother was on. She was a Marine. She lost her voice to cancer shortly after and I've never heard her voice and I've been trying for years to get this episode.

This version allowed the panel to talk too long, there was too much other stuff happening so that last guest was always rushed off! 😔

At first I got the title and your CZcams name confused, and thought the video was for "What's My Excuse?"
