- This is quite possibly my favorite California Raisins song! I've always loved the original version of it, but the California Raisins have a way of making everything they sing even more awesome than it already was.
This was cut from the 1988 movie 'Meet the Raisins.'
This special had a direct influence on my tastes in music when I was a kid.
Thanos when he successfully balances the universe
Rest In Peace mr William vinton...passed away October 2nd, 2018. Creator of these California raisins and all those memorable claymation musicals of the 80s and 90s.
I had this on VHS and wore the tape out from playing it so many times! This was just so magical. The animation, the music, the voices, the story, the humor all incredible. They didn't play down to kids back then. I'm still picking up on references, puns, and innuendo I missed throughout the years. Simply amazing.
Who's here cuz Homer killed them all?
everything is better when sung by raisins. that's just facts...... I'm 36 and I miss this shit
Man, I remember renting this from the local D&D Video ALL THE TIME back when I was 4 or 5. The California Raisins are probably the biggest reason for me being such a fan of Motown, second only to my mom being a baby boomer with great taste in music.
My childhood brought me here! With all the remakes they're doing, they need to bring THIS back!!!
I love the California Raisns
Red was always my favorite! Coolest of the bunch in my opinion.
They need to make a movie about these guys bringing the groove back into this world
The world has lost a great innovator and animator. A man who pioneered the art of claymation, and gave us countless characters and iconic moments for us to remember.
I still have the VHS recording when it premiered back in 88. Every once in a while I watch it to remind me how much fun the 80’s were growing up.
Whoever did the Raisins? Awesome!!!! Even still today!!! Awesome!!!!
This song and Ain't Too Proud to Beg were my favorites from the special.
The animation was absolutely superb.
best movie about raisins ever
This song randomly popped into my head the other day! My cousin and I used to watch this over and over again. I just wish that they had released this on digital.
I remember watching this on VHS I miss good old days.
This just brought back so many memories! I loved this movie, I had it on VHS (throw back). I had the little action figures and the lunch box. This is what real cartoons/claymation in about. Missing my 80s, great and fun times.
