I come here for the pronunciation of âplontâ
I've watched many videos about how to care plants, but this guy, he is the best! Easy, clear and fun. Tusen tack!!
I audibly gasped when he cut that off the node
I really like the way you say plawnt.
Some of my leaves have grown as much as 3 feet in span. But i forgot to shower it for just one day and three of these leaves got burnt. đ I can't bring myself to cut them off. đđđ
In the USA only the adadsonii is know as Swiss cheese
I have a Monstera, it's huge and has actually fruited about 5 years ago. It took another year to ripen and did smell and taste amazing. Love this video.
Of all the monstera, calathea and pothos advice Iâve sought, this channelâs has been the most comprehensive and informative content of all of it. Thank you for clearing up all the wishy washy information out there! So helpful
Here in Bermuda, I have several of that in my garden and the fruits are sweet like sugar apple.
All six of my bad ass kids (plants) are right here listening right along with me
AHHH I WAS GETTING SCARED YOU DIDNT HAVE ONE FOR MONSTERAâS!!! I FINALLY FOUND THIS VIDEO ON YOUR CHANNEL! :D so so so thankful for this channel⊠you have saved so many plant lives you have no idea!
I started expanding my houseplant hobby about 3 years ago. My monstera has done wonderfully. Before I ever saw your videos, I just did a lot of on-line search. And it just happened that the only room my monstera could be in, was in front of a huge north-facing window. It grew quickly. I've got about 25 gorgeous fenestrated leave on it. Even this winter, it continues to push out new beautiful leaves. Almost all of the leaves are bigger than my face. I've only used a water-soluble fertilizer in spring. But during this winter, the only nutrition I feed it, is worm castings. I think my plant loves it. đ
Really appreciate your delivery style; very factual with no editorialized drama. Have viewed some of your other videos and actually learned techniques which I will employ. Just subscribed. Thank you for your professionalism.
Yesterday I saw a large, beautiful Monstera - but it was 40⏠and I just wasn't willing on paying so much for a plant right now, also I currently don't have enough room for it (yet!) - but then I saw a baby Monstera seedling with no fenestrations yet - that was a sign! I bought it and I'm so happy I did because it's cute and I love watching them grow :D
As someone who owns a 14 stem 6yr old monstera that is in full intense light all day in the UK, I can 100% tell you that the more light and climbing opportunities you give this plant (obviously you have to slowly move it into bright light, as in took me 6 months) the more light it gets the faster it grows and the bigger the fenestrations become, mines leaves are almost the size of my torso now and have center holes as well as side splits
These are probably the most useful and informative plant videos I've seen. I've been looking for some more professional, detailed advice, rather than the typical hobbyist "influencer" videos, and you guys did a great job!
I just got a nice monstera a few days ago that I found on a clearance rack for $5. All that was wrong with it is it needed repotted and staked up and one leaf was ripped up. So now I need to learn how to take care of it, thanks for the info
I live in Greece and my plants are flowering and fruiting like crazy on full sunlight. Did not know they are edible. Thanks a lot.
This is the best video for Monstera I've seen so far.
