Given that he called himself a guardian of "Rites" I'm guessing he's not so much protecting the stars as the knowledge of how to harness them for mystic might and read them for portents of what state the cosmos is in.

It's an interesting look at the phrase "If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, its yours forever. If it doesn't, then it was never meant to be". In this case, letting go is terrifying.
The probability of Blitz∅ "coming back" is...very far from assured. And the visuals seem to confirm that Stolas understands that better than (at least I) previously thought. Stolas is already considering a future without Blitz∅. What he sees isn't pleasant for him, (the accuracy of said perspective is another matter). And yet, setting Blitz∅ free is no less the right thing to do, for both their sakes. How Blitz∅ will take this, I really don't know. Considering his fear of "dying alone", this might turn into a very delicate situation (hopefully not). If he "doesn't come back", in what fashion? How "far away" would the end result be? I guess we'll just have to see.
(For all I know, maybe I'm overdramatizing my own musings. People, and thus characters that handle "real" situations, are confusing).
Us owls aren't necessarily known for our courage, (well, unless you're talking about Ga'hoole), but I'm thinking Stolas is going to need a lot of it. (And no, not the liquid kind).
I think it's going to be a hard flight back for Blitz once he's been let go. There's no doubt it my mind he'll take it well, despite it being a very important step in trust. I worry his scouting of confirmation bias will make things difficult, but I think they'll end up together in the end
You know what you owls are known for though? Only falling in love once in their lives. Many owl species mate for life. But Stolas is immortal as one of the 72 demons of the Ars Goetia. His life will go on....and on...and on. Blitz better not fuck this up.
The perspective of the moon starting off smaller than Stolas and in the end it is giant. It is like how much Stolas' longing for Blitz has grown and much his feelings is eclipsing everything else.
What is sad is at the end when he is reaching towards the ceiling the light in his eyes faded like if Blitzø disappeared

Oh shit! You're right about the gold tones! I already watched this music video tons of times but I never picked up on the similarities we saw in Blitz's hallucination with the gold feathers and all! Especially around 4:04 you see the exact trail of gold from that bad trip and it follows the moon aka Blitz. When Stolas takes the leap of faith the same trail of dark gilded tones changes to a mix of bright blue and reds. Man, so much symbolism in this video. Gotta love it.
I fuckin live for symbolizm in animation and Vivziepop never ceases to find more ways to incorporate deeper meanings into her work!
One thing I like about the visuals is when their string of fate snapped, for a brief moment the disconnecting parts were hands trying to stay grasp before they break apart.

I just want these doofuses to eventually reach the relationship status of Fizz x Ozzie. They have gone through so much heartache already, and I fear the present won't make it better.
We still have 5 episode before the end of the season, im sure when stolas give the cristal to blitzø the thinks going down hard, but i hope they end the season being boyfriends or at least friends with the possibility of a relationship in season 3 (if theres one)

You said _exactly_ what I've been thinking: that Blitzo may take Stolas's gift the wrong way, that he'll see the crystal as Stolas saying that he wants to be rid of him.
They need to talk things over, the question is: what does Stolas say? What do you say to get through to someone like Blitzo? A self-destructive, self-sabotaging individual, who, like Stolas acknowledges, has put up walls because he's too afraid to let anyone in. And he's afraid because of a history of loss, mistreatment, and abandonment.
We know how both of them feel, we know that Stolas loves Blitzo to death and wants him to stay in his life, but Blitzo doesn't know or believe that. It's the most frustratingly gripping dramatic irony I've seen in a piece of media so far.
I'm glad we share the brain cell! Blitz definitely isn't one to take this kind of thing well at all, imo. That conversation is going to be so difficult and emotional, but i agree it seriously needs to happen

I’m so glad for “Paranoid DJ” ! He is incredibly talented and dedicates a lot of work for his music, songs and voice acting. He wrote and composed this song, as a fan-made thing, 2 years ago! Now Vivzie collaborated with him and made a musical video with him. 😄
I super recommend watching his channel. Paranoid DJ has dozen of songs for Hazbin Hotel and Helluva boss.

I think Blitzo not only expects to be hurt, but he pushes away to minimize the damage he feels he will cause if he embraces his feelings. If that letter to Fizz was a love letter... Well, look how that day turned out. Would you really feel like you deserve to love anyone after something like that?

Here i am, its nice you react to this Video right now. But i would say, now that Blitz have hope (i say only his happy eating in Ep7), there is the possibility he dont think Stolas want to ditch him. Let us hope this. Maybe it it will not happen outright, but i for one think it will work out somehow/someday.
