The fact that as a kp we had to get a state subject certificate, a certificate of citizenship of jnk and the fact they had a separate govt. tenure separate flag, basically they were a whole separate mini country, speaks volumes how this step was necessary to tell the world that we will always be an integral part of India.

This has massively helped INdia focus on other issues. in the 90s we used to hear "militants gun down civilians. Kashmir locked down" nearly every month. But now it has reduced 90%.

I am from the state of jk and as someone who has lived and seen it all happen first hand I can assure you all that not a bit of it is propaganda. Every detail shown is how things have happened. Article 370 was an archaic interpretation and it’s done good for us to have it out of the way. It was also anti women of the state. A Kashmiri could get a Pakistani wife and she would get the state subject documents, but the daughters of the state if they so decided to get married to a non JK resident would lose all right to property and even their identity as a state subject. How was this fair? And the entire of issue of political sabotage is another story which this movie has done justice to right from start to finish. It is a must watch movie
Jammu is my hometown and the best thing about abrogation of article 370 is separatists' back bone has been broken after this. Although i am not supporting any poilitical party and youth of Jammu is very much unemployed at this point but the Natiaonalism has been grown, not seen any stone pelting case from the last 4-5 years, our forces are granted with power to deal with them, rapid actions are being taken over any infilteration or rifts with security forces, our tricolour waves at Lal chowk and separatists used to say, "no one would pick the tricolour flag here".

Theatre was about 70 % full and mid week day ! Everyone in the theatre was engrossed throughout the film , gasping, cheering, and what not! Here in USA, this film rightly deserves more shows and screens ! Even though some cinematic liberties were taken, what really works for the film Is how the makers made the film with such integrity and responsibility! For those who are still thinking, If you came out watching ‘Kashmir Files’ with emotional setback If you came out watching ‘Kerala Story’ alarmingly worried, rest assured , after watching Article 370, you will be consciously coming out with a high of clarity and realisation that our great Bharat 🇮🇳 is on a much needed right direction. Special hats off to hero of this epic- actress Shri Yami Gautam Dhar and actress Shri Priyamani and all the people involved in bringing this much needed attention to a critical corrective measures of our nation’s journey. The director brilliantly cuts the clutter surrounding Article 370 for the main stream populace and disseminates the information in such a novel way that even a layman can understand how uphill of a task was for our Central Government/administration to abrogate the unlawful Article 370 of our 🇮🇳 Constitution for setting the nation on a imminent path of progress for the next 1000 years ! Amit Shah's speech and his overall personality is so powerful and i think they totally were lost on who to select, and honestly, I can't even think of any actor to play his part. In URI they were spot on every character and it was the best star cast I have seen. Ajit Doval sir and Manohar Parrikar were great, the actors were perfect.

I am from the state of jk and as someone who has lived and seen it all happen first hand I can assure you all that not a bit of it is propaganda. Every detail shown is how things have happened. Article 370 was an archaic interpretation and it’s done good for us to have it out of the way. It was also anti women of the state. A Kashmiri could get a Pakistani wife and she would get the state subject documents, but the daughters of the state if they so decided to get married to a non JK resident would lose all right to property and even their identity as a state subject. How was this fair? And the entire of issue of political sabotage is another story which this movie has done justice to right from start to finish. It is a must watch movie
Jammu is my hometown and the best thing about abrogation of article 370 is separatists' back bone has been broken after this. Although i am not supporting any poilitical party and youth of Jammu is very much unemployed at this point but the Natiaonalism has been grown, not seen any stone pelting case from the last 4-5 years, our forces are granted with power to deal with them, rapid actions are being taken over any infilteration or rifts with security forces, our tricolour waves at Lal chowk and separatists used to say, "no one would pick the tricolour flag here".

Travelled 2 hours and back to watch but was glad me and my family watched it. Theatre was about 70 % full and mid week day ! Everyone in the theatre was engrossed throughout the film , gasping, cheering, and what not! Here in USA, this film rightly deserves more shows and screens !
Even though some cinematic liberties were taken, what really works for the film
Is how the makers made the film with such integrity and responsibility!

Amit Shah's speech and his overall personality is so powerful and i think they totally were lost on who to select, and honestly, I can't even think of any actor to play his part. In URI they were spot on every character and it was the best star cast I have seen. Ajit Doval sir and Manohar Parrikar were great, the actors were perfect.
