Of course there is backplay in a Rolex bezel, there are 120 clicks, so that's two per second. You move a Rolex bezel 1/3rd of a second forward, you can move it back 1/3rd of a second. That's obvious.
Clean factory seems to make a higher quality clone, you can add factory Rolex parts to create a Frankenstein Clone which is OEM Rolex parts put on the clone, for like $2k you can have a clone that can pass as a real Rolex. The dealer has to open it up to see if genuine or clone.

If you buy a real one, you don´t ´spend´ that amount.. you ´invest´ it because it wil keep it´s value over the years or even increases in value. And if you buy from an AD at retail price, you already have an increased value on the grey market. If you buy a fake you 100% lose that money

The investment is the time, wear, and durability of the watch. Sure it holds its value but foolish to bank on watches for value. The $$$ value only become real when you sell the watch for more than what you paid for. With Rolex modern watches will not be as valuable as pre-ceramic Rolex. If you do a little homework you can find out quite a bit about watch reps. They obviously vary in quality. If you find the right product you can buy very good reps that are far and away better than paying the price of a genuine item. The main reason that reps are popular is because the genuine articles are too expensive for most of us to purchase and also because the stores that sell them are picky about who gets the privilege of buying them. Would be a perfectly good watch if they used their own branding and left the movement bear. Fake watches are worthless, they don't represent the item that they're claiming to, and the fact that there are some glaring differences is exactly what makes it inauthentic (other than the fact it wasn't made by Rolex).
Was honestly thinking the same thing. If they could really tighten down their QA process they could be known as the best value watch brand in the world.
@@EspressoWatches Exactly. I honestly have never had an issue with homage watches, and prior to owning my Black Bay 58, I’d owned a bunch. Although homages are knock offs, I see no real issue with them, as they are awesome bang for buck watches for those who don’t care for branding. Replicas have just always seemed so odd to me. Perfectly good watch ruined by the fake branding. The funniest bit of it all, is that they'd be able to sell it for more money, have an easier time getting past customs, and they'd have a far larger customer base. Imagine a Ginault type company using non-patented Rolex 31xx caliber clones, with the same finishing as the fake Sub, and with actual customer service. The latest Sugess chronograph is a step in the right direction.
But they wouldn't sell in the amounts they do now, 95% of these fake watches are staying in Asia/China where they are viewed as effectively genuine. Because the real thing just isn't available and due to cost of living differences and import tax even if it was a plain steel Submariner would be the equivalent of probably half a million US dollars to the average westerner. In a land where the average salary is in the region of $300 a month most of which is not disposable a watch priced in the tens of thousands of dollars just isn't viable.

I am starting to think we are getting ripped off with luxury watches because these faults you seeing on the fake are also happening on original watches coming from Rolex, so you are paying for the name if the fake had a different name you would say for $600 it was a piece well made. Everyone loves rolex. I get that but the quality of the original is not worth 10 times of the fake you can buy microbrand watches with fantastic quality for 10th of the price.
Nonsense, dont take the exception and make it the rule. I'm sure out of the 1M watches rolex makes, some of them somewhere have a defect. By contrast, I randomly received a watch from be best producer of rolexes and I had problems with the date wheel, dial, bracelet, polishing, and who knows how many other problems appear in the future. The level of QA is from a different galaxy between these two. The sad thing, is that I think for a $100 extra, the fakes could solve all these problems but for some reason just want to shoot for volume.
The lugs against the SELs look like shit. This is how you can immediately spot a fake within 5 seconds. Not even CF or VSF can ever recess the SELs against the lugs properly and you end up with those big black lines on all four lugs that look horrible to look at. On a gen, the recession is perfect and super subtle on every of the four corners and therefore the "black lines" u see on ur rep (between the SELs and the lugs) are seamless and don't create those massive black lines that is created with the terrible recession of reps. They recess it too much and it just looks bad. Also the engraving on the clasp is terrible. I own the latest CF, VSF, and a gen and this is how I know all this. The reps are nowhere near a gen in terms of actual quality. Every rep fan boy that claims nonsense, is because they've never owned a gen and just want to convince themselves otherwise .
Agreed with your last point. I got downvoted to hell for saying that you can tell a rep instantly just by picking it up once you’ve handled a genuine rolex
I could tell after 2 seconds of video it was fake lol, the font on the number of the date wheel is well off! The easiest thing to spot quickly on a fake
What hurts is people are selling some really good quality clones for the price of a Factory Rolex. In Miami a watch dealer purchased a high quality clone. He lost over 10k.
This is why you work hard save your money and buy from an AD even if you have to wait months or a year. Don’t buy from the grey market because you might end up with a fake or stolen watch. If you buy online ALWAYS take it to a Rolex AD to verify if your watch is genuine. Don’t support fake watches. Don’t be posers. Yes a Rolex is expensive but not impossible to obtain. It’s better to buy the real thing and enjoy it for the rest of your life. One and done you will be ok, that’s all a man needs. One proper Rolex timepiece
I would have agreed with this sentiment until I walked into an AD and was fed a loud of crap about wait lists and I need to express an interest and get put on a list. I knew nothing about the grey market at that point, once I realised the game that was afoot. I thought screw that. Rolex have let their good name, in my opinion get tarnished by the dodgy practices of some of their AD’s. Would not buy one now at any price.
Mine was chinese junk vsf, the crown stem snapped after 2 months. Doesn't come close to the quality control of the OG. Did lure me to the purchase the real deal however.
Context when he shows the dial u can see on the writing on the rehaut dose not match up with the minutes marks on the dial they should be in the center of each letter and on the date u can easily see that the 4 sits a little higher then the 2 on 24

In a land where the average salary is in the region of $300 a month most of which is not disposable a watch priced in the tens of thousands of dollars just isn't viable.
ppl wont notice… the problem is, YOU know its not a real rolex and that sinks your self esteem.. the same way you feel when u get a new iphone, new pairs of nikes …its about the feeling..and you dont get that from a fake
You’re a pathetic individual if you let material possessions “sink your low self esteem”.
@@ivoshandor6859 😂 what ? i do not wear fakes so my self esteem isnt hurt but you seem offended by the comment.. you will always know you wear a fake and that you couldnt afford the real one. you are laing to yourself. if you going to fake flex and be proud of your fake watch showing it to everyone your soul is lost ma guy
Almost like you’re giving it a positive review … these snides are only hurting the industry !
How? I tried to buy a Rolex and was unable to
@@latibes then go secondhand lol - don’t support this illegal activity. A person is as fake as the watch they wear
And the fake will always be a fake and worth zero

Super cloned, how much to paid for?
50 bucks
@@JohnnyDouchbag-nr5yf seriously 😟….nice, how do you like it,
CLEAN factory better now

Substantiate your claim. Reptime still thinks otherwise. Do you have other sources?
Fake men wear Fake watches.
He's very fake! Even his dong
That brushing is god awful, it's so obvious. Terrible quality
What hurts is people are selling some really good quality clones for the price of a Factory Rolex. In Miami a watch dealer purchased a high quality clone. He lost over 10k.
I look at the movement. Nobody has copied a Rolex movement. I can tell in one second.
Actually, they have
Who is going to open a Rolex if still under warranty? No one.
Well said. It will last a lifetime and hopefully will be something to pass down in the future, while increasing in value throughout all those years.
That's subjective
I would have agreed with this sentiment until I walked into an AD and was fed a loud of crap about wait lists and I need to express an interest and get put on a list. I knew nothing about the grey market at that point, once I realised the game that was afoot. I thought screw that. Rolex have let their good name, in my opinion get tarnished by the dodgy practices of some of their AD’s. Would not buy one now at any price.
Got a fake from Frod oh… and the date wheel is a problem too as well as the clasp is not function and fell off.. total junk. Avoid this seller
Mine was chinese junk vsf, the crown stem snapped after 2 months. Doesn't come close to the quality control of the OG. Did lure me to the purchase the real deal however.
That sucks! My buddy's fake has worked flawlessly for 8 yrs now.
World's Fake Best Rolex?
the side profile of the bracelets is an immediate tell. the original has tapered thickness side profile
Far from the best fake I seen problems as soon as u got up near the dial seen much better fakes over the years then this
Context when he shows the dial u can see on the writing on the rehaut dose not match up with the minutes marks on the dial they should be in the center of each letter and on the date u can easily see that the 4 sits a little higher then the 2 on 24
1:14 the bloody gap between the bezel and case is insane and this is the worlds best fake 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
needs a oil bath... take off the band ...soak in WD40 or baby oil .... wash ot dry will fell OEM
Total nonsense
Get a job and a life.
Is it worth it? No. They stole Rolex name. If you purchase, you are stealing as well. I would suggest legal alternatives of San Martin or Steinhart.
dont care. i own 24 fake rolex and i like to sell as real. lol
