- Here is what I am packing for my study abroad semester in Copenhagen, Denmark for the winter and spring. I tried to be as minimalist as I could, but I also don't want to buy too much when I'm there - this is the balance I found.

most of the time, whenever i travel on the aeroplane, i wrap around a piece of ribbon around the handles of the suitcases i bring, so you can easily pick out where your suitcases are on the baggage escalator thingy (soz i forgot the name of it)
packing videos make me want to travel so badly!
It's so awesome seeing people getting to do the things they've been dreaming about for years. So happy for you. I'll be studying abroad soon as well so this video was SUPER helpful. Can't wait to see how you like Copenhagen!

This is so exciting! I just applied for an internship in Greece, and my NY resolution was to take a trip this year, so this just helps remind me of my goal haha. I do wish I'd studied abroad in my undergrad though :(

oh my when you're in Copenhagen you HAVE TO go to Papirøen, its the coolest food market ever (not too many vegan options though..) and is located on this little island just outside of Nyhavn i love it so much
Do they at least have decent vegetarian options? I'm not vegan lol! I might have to check it out
oh i thought you were vegan hahah! yeah they definitely had much more vegetarian dishes (which tasted AMAZING btw) compared to the vegan ones. there's almost always lots of people there though so it might be hard to find a place to sit

Yes! But I got here and it's only a European shaped pillow... I should have known. Now on the hunt for an American shaped one so I can use my cases lol
Hi!!! I'm from Mexico but I study in Spain by myself, so I've done the jump to the other side of the world many times, and I just recommend that you make your backpack lighter, like only your book, laptop, your wallet, the important papers and the planner instead of the many stuff you're taking for entretainment. You're probably going to be walking a lot, so that's why I'm telling you to make it lighter, besides, that backpack is going to be under the front seat and where you put your legs, and the smaller it is, the more comfortable you'll be. I see that you still have space in your carry on, so you can put all that stuff in there.

Not sure if it's because I'm on the Danish LL Bean site or if it's because I bought that backpack almost 4 years ago, but I no longer see this exact one on there. They've still got great ones though!

Is there not a rule tht u r not allowed to take more than 1 liter into the air plane? And tht each container is not allowed to be over 100 ml? They looked too large in your backpack. I was also missing an adapter to charge your electronic stuff in Europe, but maybe tht was just not in the video.
They're not too big - it's a TSA specific bag and containers. Got through security this morning with no issues lol

Yup, said that in the vid. I said it during my checked luggage part. Although I have a backup in my carry-on as well that was not mentioned - it was in that bag of misc. electronics

I don't think it's any colder than where I'm from lol! And yup, like I said I will have a bike while I'm there - pretty pumped!
