They played famous nightclubs between New York and L.A in the late 30's during the big band era often on the same circuit as other larger, more famous name bands. While in L.A. they were in several movies. They were 3 Jewish and 3 Italian musicians playing their own unique style of music. DM

the male singer and swing dancer surely is a veeeerrrry young Buddy Ebsen. He had a great and fascinating career. During WWII he was one of those special Hollywood people (like Jimmy Stewart) who fought against the "suits" who wanted him to be bond salesmen or USO-type entertainers. After the Navy foolishly turned him down, he joined the Coast Guard and served as genuine, full service officer.
