Penny Wong says Kevin Rudd will continue as ambassador if Donald Trump is elected president

Asked if Kevin Rudd will remain as Australia's ambassador to Washington should Donald Trump return to the White House, foreign affairs minister Penny Wong said 'yes' and described him as a 'very effective ambassador' who had done an 'excellent job in advancing Australia's interests in the United States'.
