Tried this and am starting to get some results I like!
Wonderful techniques and ideas, I would love to see the methods you would use to create some 8x10s for framing and hanging on walls.
I can only imagine they would be stunningly spectacular based on these smaller examples. 💖🎨💐💟
Fabulous play and tips to use the alcohol inks on our gel plates, thank you Birgit!!!
Gorgeous! ❤

Excellent ! I love that !
I bought an alcohol kit to try and failed miserably! Haven't touched it since. Your video gives me hope that I can learn this technique. You make it look so easy to make those beautiful backgrounds. Thank you for the video. Now I know I can't live without a geli plate!!
Lovely! Will definitely try this out.
These are so cool!
I've seen the glasses uses with alcohol inks on Yupo or photo paper but never on the Gelli plate. Great results.

And to think I was about to give up on finding a way to use the alcohol inks I have had for years and barely touched. Thank you!
I used 60% off coupons to buy more alcohol ink at JoAnns this weekend. Hope mine come out this nice.
I know I have had alcohol inks for years, but haven't used them very much. Thinking about trying them with my gelli plate.
Fabulous 💝 x
Splendide !
WOW!!!
I’ m a big fan of you from Italy... I’m going to do a video about your wonderful gel plate and my art journal...I watched all all all videos!! Super! See you!!
Fantastic....will the mixatives work with it I wonder?
So pretty
Beautiful
Brilliantly beautiful and entertaining 🙏🏼🤩👌💎💚💜❤️💙
Simple beauty
Fab!
Love
Fantastic
So enjoyed this, Birgit! What kind of acrylic paint do you use? Thanks much!
Majikal ❤️❤️❤️
Love what you teach! When you post directions, it would be really helpful if they were in black. Currently, the white lettering against white background is difficult to see/read! Thanks!
You could do font in a bright green & maybe it would pop off the screen
The star tag!! Bravo!! How long until the alcohol ruins the gel plate? I “heard” that the Speedball gel plates are for a-inks? Thank you. P.s. I’ve watched several a-ink gel plate videos yours caught my interest. ❤
Hi. Just watched this video. Thank you for sharing. Can you tell me if you need to seal these alcohol ink pieces and what paper have you used them on? I've only experimented with alcohol inks on yupo paper. Thank you
Holy guacamole! The one with the stencil!!!!!!!!’n
I also like how you show to beater off any excess paint before the pull. That is important and helpful.
May I ask how how you clean the stamps?
What white do you use ?
Is there any special cleaning method for your gelli plates after using the alcohol inks?
May I please ask what stamp you are using please.. and also how do you go about cleaning the stencils and stamps after using the inks
With 91% isopropyl alcohol…or gel sanitizers if you have any to spare. ;-)
I tried this but the inks just absorbed into the plate? They barely were printed. My plate didn't look clean like yours after a pull?
Hello Olivia! What kind of plate did you use and what brand of alcohol inks? Birgit uses Ranger and Copic refills! Different materials may lead to different results. Additionally, colors with yellow tones can tend to soak into the plate a little bit, though it seems like you are experiencing a bigger problem here!
@@GelliArts hi! Thank you for your reply. I used ranger inks in shades of blue, green, pink, orange and yellow. I used a Gel plate made by speedball 5x7 size. The inks didn't move as in the video. Even adding more ink I didn't get same results. I pulled when wetter and also when dryer. My plate is completely discolored and very dark.
@@joystclaire We recommend trying out a Gelli® plate! Our videos and instructions are specifically made for our products; we can not guarantee how different mediums will perform on other plates!
I just don’t think using that much of expensive alcohol inks is worth it…for a tag. Layer after layer after layer after layer…after layer? Really?
Ugh this is frustrating to me because you have such a great art sense and could be doing great art block prints with this process - but labels?
