That manitou pivot steer machine is a magical machine you have. I used to drive a matbro TR250 on a farm i used to work on it shoveled thousand of tonnes of dung, grain, grass and maize silage not to mention all the big square bales it picked up of hay and straw and bags of fertilizer over the years.
The year of firsts after losing a loved one is horrible. The pain diminishes. The little "catch you out" moments are sneaky, random and unpredictable. They turn up at the least convenient times. Hang in there. We, hour online flock are all cheering you on. 🐑🐏🐑🐏🐑
'Grief' It's 'a strange beast' it can creep up on you at any moment, Talking / praying to her when visiting her grave can help ease the pain, It's Good to Talk I'm sure your Mum is guided you on your daily way 🙏 💯
I hurt for you when those moments pop up that you STILL share with your Mum...it's raw now but time down the road will take away that sting we all feel in the beginning. Yes, the sadness never goes away but it becomes a part of us as we embrace the smiles, tears and memories that are tattooed on our Hearts and Souls. Own those moments and remember that Mum is right there with her daughter! You are right about how weather can play a huge role in our everyday life mood wise, but I also understand that weather plays so many different roles in a farmer's daily work schedule too. Hi Nicola, you family has built an amazing large barn. A versatile area that can be a young calf barn or transformed into a great sheep lambing barn. It's a big investment from the original barn build to all the new galv gates, water troughs etc. It is sad your mum hasn't seen the barn finished but she knows you have always done a great job with your improvements to the farm and would be really proud of what you and Davie have turned it into. How many sheep will be lambing this year and I didn't see your bed in there for the night shifts? I enjoy your very interesting videos of your life on your farm, thanks. If I was you Nicola give the whole shed a soak down before washing it and give it 10 15 minutes to melt the dirt leaves it far easier washed
