    The Karcher WD3, wet and dry vacuum cleaner is a high quality powerful vac with a compact design, and great performance.
    The WD3 is instantly recognisable as a Karcher vacuum cleaner. The distinctive yellow and black colour scheme might not be the most attractive, but it looks professional and is suitable for small work sites along with homes. It also has a solid build quality.
    Karcher’s paper filter bags, which are made with high-performance 2-ply paper for extra strength. These are relatively inexpensive, but they sometimes come loose within the vacuum’s body as they can’t be securely attached.
    Karcher has designed the WD3 to be compact. The body is around 50cm tall, but only 38.8cm deep and 34cm wide. It’s easy to store, due to the on-board cord storage, although the hose means it’s not quite as compact as an upright vacuum.
    The WD3 has a 17 litre container. This provides plenty of space for rubble, debris and liquids.
    5.8kg,it’s not too heavy either. There’s an ergonomic carry handle, along with wheels, to help you move the vacuum around the home.
    One of the best features of the WD3 is that you can suck up both dry debris and liquid spills using the same filter. Many wet and dry vacuums have separate filters for the two jobs, which is less convenient and more time consuming. You still need to switch hose sockets, but this is much easier than changing the filter.
    Karcher has a reputation for reliability. If you’re looking for a wet and dry vacuum cleaner that lasts, it’s a great choice.
    As you would expect from a wet and dry vacuum with a powerful 1000W motor, the WD3 provides excellent suction power. It’s also a durable model that can withstand sucking up pretty much anything, so it’s great for rubble and other tough jobs.
    Despite the strong cleaning performance, the Karcher is far from the loudest vacuum cleaner on the market. With a noise rating of 75dB it’s certainly not quiet, but it won’t damage your ear drums.
    The WD3 comes with a removable cartridge filter. As we mentioned , this allows you to tackle both wet to dry cleaning tasks without needing to swap filters.
    The Karcher has strong suction power, so the filters tend to clog relatively quickly. Unlike vacuums with cyclonic action, this greatly reduces the suction power. Make sure you clean the filters regularly to maintain strong suction.
    Karcher is known for producing high-quality and durable home tools, and the WD3 Tough is another great example. Whether you need to remove excess moisture from a carpet, clear rubble from building works or blow dust from behind radiators, it does an excellent job.

    Thabks for the review, I had a similar model (made in China and cheap) for vacuuming the leaves in the garden. It was so loud, leaves kept getting stuck and it was not powerful.
    Thanks to your review, I purchased this and it feels like having a superpower. Sucks everything in my terrace (I have lots of trees) and compared to my old one its super quiet. My one issue is the bag, which when full I wouldn't know what to do with it, I dont think you can empty it, so like you said, probably will have to buy a few (I found a set of 4 for about $20). The wheels are uber smooth and storing it is actually cute.
    What an awesome purchase and that packaging makes you excited to use it. Thanks for the video !!

    I've had the earlier revision of the Kärcher WD3 for almost about 5 years now.
    I think my opinion on it has been too harsh since I've been spoiled by my Numatic Henry and Swiss Henry but now that I think about it again, considering the price of this machine.
    Although this machine is definitely built down to a price, compared to it's competition (especially in the North American market) It's pretty damn good.

    I need to get the Karcher canister style steamer with the full array of attachments as Oreck stopped making my Steamit and it’s getting hard to find new pads. Besides as soon as I bought the Oreck I realized it’s not the best tool to use in a stall shower and the Karcher would be flexible. Their stuff is made really well.

    Amazing video as always 😁
    I have had the same one for past four years and it is good.
    I only had two small issues with the cord and the squeegee on the floor tool.
    The cord broke on the inlet of the vacuum and the squeegee wore out bc I used it to often on my rug 🤦‍♂️

    I own a different model of a karcher from the "WD" line (WD4) it has a Domel motor which I believe are relatively high quality compared to the generic chinese motors most of these vacuums have. They do sell replacement motors for this model on ebay.

    i know an earlier version of this which didnt have a dial it was more of a traditional push buttons it didnt have tool storage on the motor unit and had a fixed handle but its more a less the same cleaner but it didnt have fleece bags it was more of paper bags which i hate because they leak out dirt and they clog alot quicker

    Looks like a good little machine totally shocked me since it's so small but I love that bc I don't like big shop vacs & I'm loving that it is pretty quiet! I'm a little confused though in the description box you link to the 34mm TK286 but that only comes in 32mm (1-1/4") or 35mm (1-3/8") so I'm not sure which one to buy. When I click on link it picks the 32mm so is it the 32mm (1-1/4") size that is correct for WD3?

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  Před rokem +1

      The link has an option to choose between 32 and 34 mm. It might be listed as 35. But that is the correct one to fit this.

    Hi! What is your opinion about vacuums with water filters? Karcher and Koblenz have some models and they promise solve the problems of bagless vacuums.

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  Před rokem

      There are plenty of companies who have added water to vacuums, the problem with water is it's generally a poor filtration medium. The solution really is modern HEPA bags.

    Are you sure those vacuum bags work with the WD3? The Karcher website tells me to get another one, but I cannot find them anywhere, and they are not for sale on the Karcher site. Thank you. Also, just a note that I decided to get a Sebo E3 because of your channel and other research. I am happy I didn't go with a Shark or Dyson again.

    How does the noise compare to that of a normal shop vac or even a home vac? Looking for a quieter wet/dry vac for car cleaning and emergency clogs or such. The Dewalt Stealthsonic i think is quiter but i personally prefer the size and setup of the Kartcher. I was also looking at the steup up from this model as it uses the flat filter cratrage with a partial self clean function, seemed intresting! Also its on sale for prime day, hence the deeper intrest
