I appreciate all the information. I'm extremely motivated and I believe this field will reward my hard work and allow me to get back on my feet financially in a short amount of time. Best video on this topic my guy. I have an interview today with an All-State family owned company. It would be a remote position so I don't know if that's more difficult than the traditional walk in offices.

    I’m completely new to Insurance. I’ve worked factory for 8 years I’m done. My health has declined and I knew I wanted a change. My best friend works insurance she still can’t get licensed but she got me a spot in her agency. I start Monday and I’m nervous as hell! The agent interviews many candidates even more qualified than me. He said I’m the one. Not sure what he saw in me but he’s been doing this for 42 years. Right off the bat he said exactly what you’re saying Cody. “Prospects and getting in front of people “ I’m a very social person and I posses charisma. I’m a hard worker and very ambitious and unsatisfied I want more. I think he sensed that enthusiasm in me. Thank you for this video and introducing insurance to us. Hearing you were once completely new and still having very ambitious goals your first year really motivates me to go in with my head right. • @aaronyoung64
      @aaronyoung64 Před 4 lety +11

      I was a "captive" Farmers agent for 8 years. I personally didn't like it but the one good thing was was the subsidy they paid me for the first 2 years which helped me get started. I sold my Farmers BOB and am now a truly independent Medicare, Health & Life insurance agent and I love it! It is way better than being a captive agent for sure and the commissions on life insurance is around 95 to 100 percent rather than the 40 percent Farmers paid me.

  • @theunpopularmillennial3413

    So say they agree to a monthly premium. Do you get half of that monthly payment at 50%? Compared to them paying in full? How many people actually pay in full?

    • @jordinhassen
      @jordinhassen Před 2 lety +1

      It depends on the comp level your at depending on if your captive or independent.. life ins can pay you in advance, so they pay you 9 months of prem , some is as earned as well which means your going to get paid every month as long as client pays that month.
