He said grudging against "Moonshine" sounds like Garrett's tuner Dr. Tune'em all.
Awesome interview
lyle good guy
So great seeing him at Gainesville..... Class act and amazing racer!!
Love this guy's story talk about getting back on the horse a true inspiration i have been a big fan of Lyle for year's and will be for life
I've said it before when it comes to Lyle and his story !! He is my hero !! He is such a strong person and has an amazing wife that has been by him even before his accident. That's why he preaches on you and others safety equipment, he preaches because he had a 2nd chance !! And most don't! If Lyle or Big country speaks you need to be listening!!!
He needs to make his rounds to some of these bigger, small tire NPK races going on in the country like Dig or Die, War in the Woods, etc and then street races at places such as Da Pad and others. Lyle needs to speak to the younger racers who for whatever reason think it’s cool to run a 1,400 hp car down the 1/8th at 160mph+ many running alcohol!! The only safety gear some are wearing is a helmet……….. with the fucn visor UP!!! WTF are these kids thinking? Blue jeans, t-shirt, helmet with visor up, no gloves, no fire suppression at all?!?? Someone is gonna get killed soon if someone with clout does not wake these guys up!! They are wearing fire jackets at most tracks but no gloves, visor still up, still blue jeans, etc!
My wife has been a Burn nurse for 20+ years Lyle and has helped several guys like you and some she couldn’t help. We are in NC also if you need someone from the medical side to help you but they are not listening to the online crowd pleading with them to be protected!!
You could make a huge difference Lyle!!
You are a good interviewer Justin. Not everyone can do it. ... Natural talent.
Lyle is an inspiration to a lot of people and one humble guy
Shawn wore flip flop the whole first 2 season of street outlaws on the street lmfao
Shawn taked about how cheif wouldn't let him race if he didn't start wearing a HANS device
Total respect for this guy!!!!
Great podcast my dude 😎
This was a quality podcast. I know the skanks appeal to some of your audience but this was enjoyable.
That's a completely differant channel
Lyle is who we all should hope we can be. So humble. He will be an amazing dad. His accident was horrible. But he is so grateful for what has happened since then.
Great podcast 👍
Elite is about 40 miles from where I live. Awesome to hear Lyle is racing with those guys. They’ve got one hell of an operation going on. It’s world class!! Best podcast yet brother. Keep it up

Justin this one’s gold. Thanks. Learned a lot.

One of the best podcasts I’ve seen keep it up
Great show
Yea Bobby still has truck
GOD bless you Lyle, your family and friends aND your incredible team of Doctors, specialists and therapists. And to you Justin for bringing Lyle to the show,, Thank YOU Son. We've heard bits and pieces of information about Lyle, the crash and how he came back from perhaps the most feared crash by the racing community,, but to hear the entire story from Lyle himself was awesome. Justin, you helped keep the conversation focused and on point. This podcast deserves a 10 STAR rating Son. Thank you Lyle and Thank you Justin. SWANGANG to the FRONT!!
Great video. Everytime I see a visor up in any vid, I think about Lyles vids, and talking about his accident.
Great video my lot of slants
Lyle's case is a warning ⚠️ for anyone racing in Jean's and a t-shirt...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠
Hear hear to that Bill. It doesn't matter whether a driver is piloting a 13 second car or a 4 second car,, as Lyle and Justin said, it's not 'IF' you're gonna wreck it's 'WHEN'. Guys and Gals need to take their SAFETY seriously. For some, that one chance ends terribly because they did not take the sport seriously. The human body really is more frail than we want to believe it is. Granted, our medical professionals, our minds and body can do wonderful things to rebuild itself BUT why subject ourselves to DANGER when the danger can be minimized by wearing the gear that is designed to help protect us as best equipment can.
Life can change fast
Loved this podcast hands down 🙌🏾the best 👌🏾.... Lyle gained a fan 👍🏾
ATGATT All the gear all the time.

Lyle is a great person an one top notch racer ..thank you lyle I always enjoy hearing from you good luck on everything you do..
I hope you've gotten past your PTSD Lyle, I'm 28 and drive my dad's highschool car in small tire(no prep/street) mild steel ladder bar car. 5.0x to 4.5x on a decent surface. I know its fast enough to get hairy. My dad wrecked 1/8 mile big tire 63 vette backet racing running 4.60's in 2008ish. Helmet came off in the crash. Life flighted etc etc. I'll never forget the blood and terror being only 13. I've gotten past it and drive. But Its there with me Everytime I strap in or someone close to me goes down the track. Appreciate you talking about it. Love hearing you thoughts, very down to earth man!
Top notch content. Best one yet!
What an epic podcast!
Good job Justin best interview ever
Great podcast
Lyle is a awesome dude and even better driver and this has been one of his best interviews I have seen of him so far. Good luck next season Lyle and hopefully you can win at least 5 of those 10 races. I'll be watching for sure
Love your podcasts and LOVE your selection of guests . Keep up the great work and I cannot wait to see the "Trust Fund" Nova showing the world that 2022 is the year of SWANGANG
I was rooting for him in Season 2 of The Fastest Car. His foxbody was pulling away hard on that McLaren before it broke loose. He’s a class act and a great racer to look up to.
#SwanGang4life,💪

In 1991 @ 20 years old I got into a bad wreck and spent 3 months in the hospital and broke my back and was paralyzed from the waist down and I feel like my wreck ain't shit compared to what Lyle went through!!! He's a BMF and l don't have human heros, but he's as close as they come to being one for me!!!! What a story!!!!!
great content. good of you to look after those that looked after you Lyle much respect
The podcasts are fuckin awesome. Good luck in 2022 Swan Gang. You have learnt more from last year. Always awesome content 👍😊👏🤟
Meg Lyle at the Walmart in Commerce, Ga back last year during the Southern Nationals. Was nervous to go up and talk to him after I noticed who he was, but I got lucky and we were walking out at the same time, so I yelled his name and he stopped and talked to me for a minute. Honestly one of the nicest dudes I’ve ever met, gave me a ticket for the race. Went the next day and found him there and just stood there and talked for a few and it felt like I was talking to a buddy of mine. I swear I’ve bout dang wore of the MacFab shirt I got from his in the past year. Jam up dude for sure.
Great video, one of my last races in Outlaw !0.5 was at Huntsville.
Lyle has got to be the best first Guest ever
My best friend is a burn victim and I know the hell he went through. God bless you Lyle!
Something to add about NPK between rounds from my experience with you: Even though the Chip Draw takes 10 minutes, the way your parked in the pits at most of these tracks its a 5 minute drive by golf cart 1 way to even get there. So there were times you had to get back from the draw and literally hook the car straight up to the golf cart and get i the lanes.
What a amazing dude
Tonight is the last episode of street outlaws no prep Kings season 4
That's wh we love you Justin. You speak your mind and don't give a fuck who likes it ! That's my boy right there
Great way to start the year. Grew up at the tracks watching y’all and your dad race with my dad n friends. Crazy how far y’all have come. Too cool
Strong start to the new year.
Lyle is a hell of a man and thank you for sharing who he is for the folks who do not know.
Great interview. Safety first.
Great episode, I like Lyle, honest and cool
This is by far this is the best interview ive seen.
I gotta say, this podcast was actually pretty good 👍 I normally don't watch podcasts but it had my attention from start to finish. Good job Justin keep it up man
Fan of both of you guys. Been through a traumatic car crash when I was a teenager. It does change your perspective not being able to clean yourself. Glad you were able to maintain great relationships through your recovery and life after.
I can relate to story. My 13 year old son was burnet with severe second degree burns on 30% of his body. He spent 19 days in icu.
Lyle is a Beast !!
Hell yeah 😎 that was awesome 👏
Moonshine and it's a G body isn't that one of Kye Kelley's buddies it seems that hes been on the Memphis Street Outlaws show a few times the dude was pretty close to Kye.

Great video , 2 superstars 😎
Lyle reppin Double00Shitshow 🤘🏻👍🏻💪🏻
I was in a car accident back in February breaking every bone in my left leg the door impailed my leg lacerating me from my hip to my ankle also was impailed through my armpit. I was trapped for 50 minutes was flown to A Trauma unit i was dead they saved my life. My gf is A nurse and I totally understand getting that level of care vs being with someone who doesn’t know what to look for. People don’t understand the cost of things shower chair, attachment for the toilet the things you need just to be comfortable. Even tho it hasn’t been A year I’ll still wake up screaming to get me outa the car but I went through that why did it happen to me I’d have break downs in the shower I didn’t have the level of family support as him but my gf was amazing through it but if someone never been through something bad you definitely need some sort of support.
fun fact, ryan Martin refers to justin as goofy bastard on national tv...
One of the best interviews, I've ever seen. Great job. Lyle is an awesome guy and you asked insightful questions that made the podcast so interesting.
Awesome podcast. Love listening to the both of you guys talk about racing and your guys stories about getting started. Lyles story is one that many people will never forget I watched it live and I looked everyday to see how he was doing, great to see him in a car living his dream just like you are! Bring Lyle and Big Country back together!
Knowing Lyle since he was young being from the same town it’s awesome to see how far he’s come! #910 #moorecounty
I subscribed when your channel first started and didn't dream you would be this far Justin great job.
Personally, I loved this one! Lyle is someone I very much look up to, as I have PTSD from a work accident, almost lost both arms and my girlfriend at the time, took on the role of my caregiver as well. As thankful as I am and was, it's still a degrading feeling when someone has to help you bathe and use the bathroom. It nearly ended up driving us to getting a divorce, but we're trying...I sure did learn some helpful things from this, and it gives me hope for my future with my wife and as a man. Thanks Justin and Lyle!!
You will both did so well for me today. Thank you so much
That little kid at home watching. Well said Brother!! Safe Travels !!
That's how you murder a podcast, great questions and great job all around! To be honest I had zero faith that you could pull off a podcast but I was into the whole thing!
Crashes suck I didn’t crash a race car but I did hit a tree on a snowmobile doing 90mph I was in a coma had to learn how to walk and talk I broke my neck ,back and shattered my knee cap
I understand your pain! I broke my back twice racing/riding sleds, I have been paralyzed 3 different times, once from the neck down, from being kicked in the base of the skull 💀 by a bull, the other 2times was sled wrecks. After my last injury in 2003 I've been disabled since. Now my race is staying out of this bastard👉🦽....from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠 my wife helped me recover from my second broken back, when we first started dating...we've been married for 19ish year's together for 22 year's...without her love and support I'd have committed suicide, most likely...mental health is important and often overlooked...
@@billallen4793 my wife was right there giving me the support I’ve been with her for 20 years my crash was in 2013 on my birthday and now I’m on disability also have a brain damage my head also went off the tree it was crazy my knee broke the hand brake
@@slickproduction1064 how are you doing with the depression, and not being able to work any longer? Not feeling like a man anymore, because of not being able to work!
@@billallen4793 I was really depressed for the 1st few years but again my wife was really understanding started seeing a therapist and psychiatrist and that’s helped a lot
@@slickproduction1064 yeah I see my shrink every week. I spent the first 20ish year's mad at the Dr who crippled me, by sending me to the chiropractor and physical therapy for the first 14months after my last injury, I think because it was a workers compensation case. So with all the bending and tugging they were doing with 4 blown disc's caused me to have a permanent and progressive nerve disease that is taking away the abilities to feel my 🦵 legs and control them. The nerve disease sends false signals to my brain 🧠 telling me that my leg bones are being split in half, or that they burn 🔥 like inside a furnace, or water or bug's crawling up or down my legs. Talking to people has been the best therapy for depression. My only saving grace was that I was "lucky" enough to be hurt on the job, so that at least I had decent insurance. I had recovered from my racing injuries with my right hip being numb, then squatted down to check the air in the tire of a minivan, and blew the 4 disc's all at once, I swear I heard them pop. I'd only been married for 6mos when I got hurt the last time, we'd dated for a few year's before we got married. She already had our 3 kid's when I met her and asked her if she wanted to leave me and find a guy who could work, and be a better provider. She got kinda mad when I brought that up, because she said that I must think that she's a very shallow person to do that. I explained to her that it'd be OK if she wanted to leave and I'd understand. I was probably just trying to push her away, so she wouldn't have to take care of me like another child. The hardest part's of all of this was not feeling like a man anymore because I couldn't work. Then not being able to get my adrenaline rushes from doing dangerous things. No longer being able to do mechanical work was tough also, losing 90% of my hobbies was a bitch also. OK it all sucked...lol then had a failed spinal fusion that didn't fix me but it has kept my spine supported, but during the surgery they accidentally cut the nerves to my bladder so I can't tell when my bladder is full, so unless I have to poop which can make me pee, I am forced to use catheters to pee. Or if at the Dr's I can't pee on command, so I'm stuck using the weiner straws...the only thing wrong with my head is serious short term memory issues, from concussions I'd guess. We didn't even wear helmets when sledding until the late 80's early 90's. God we were stupid! Now I preach safety gear, safety gear, safety gear, if I'd have been wearing a chest and back protector I'd have never broken my back in the first place. Hindsight is 20/20 after all! Where are you living? Happy New Year, and may God bless you 🙏 and yours this holiday season....from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 🤠
