Based on this? No IMO. While EW beasted Broski and ProblemX, Momochi beasted top 20 Legends on his way to 2400. I know rank is nowhere the final arbiter but that is only objective fact we have now until both are participate in tournies. Until then, I say Momochi clearly.
Looking at mr is a poor metric. Japan has waaaaay more players in master, which means there is a larger spread and thus more people to farm mr in japan. If momochi was in the uk he would still be insane but lower mr for sure. Nr.1 mr is only possible in japan.

True Japan much more legends but also Japan has far more international tournments winners (Tokido, Daigo, Fuudo, Bonchan, etc. etc.). I did not want to start factoring that in. That is why i stayed with MR points. No doubt we need better parameters. And tourny results usually satisfies that. Evo Japan?
E.Walker has won two local tournaments in the UK. Even if its not international. You cant discredit the amount of skilled players at locals and if you look at momochis record with ed, he doesnât play a whole set with anyone on ranked
@@lomelody1297 â With all due respect, I don't want to get in to a discussion about local tourny vs local tourny especially if we are talking about a Japanese local tourny and Momochi has not entered a tourny with Ed. A local JP tourny would have multiple international winners, including Evo and Capcom Cup champions. And Momochi certainly played multiple sets with Daigo, Chris Wong, Hikaru, Sasamo, Haitani, etc
I prefer Kazunoko's ED but I think Momochi is slightly better right now but no doubt EW will be the premiere Ed for loyalty purposes.
They will both be at evo Japan so letâs see.

It baffles me how people donât understand that being a top player in ranked and being a top player in person tournaments are two different ball games. E.Walker is better by miles if were talking about feats with Ed alone. He himself has shown that hes won two tournaments with ed already and if you look at momochis battle history he doesnât even play complete sets with players online just one and done
I think you are mistaken.
Momochi's most recent match history is from a BO1 tournament called TOP, not ranked.
Besides, you said Momochi has no results with Ed, but he recently won a 1500 player tournament called TOP with Ed.
I think saying better is a little subjective because they have different play styles. Ending is a lot more aggressive, Momochi is a lot more tactical and mind game based, then once he catches you itâs curtains for your health bar. To be honest I feel like thereâs a lot to learn from both, and if I gotta say whoâs the worst Ed that prize probably goes to Kazunoko, while he is good he is a little too passive and boring to watch, atleast for my taste. Iâm sure he has lots of people that like him, heâs a good player but just for me personally heâs just too passive of a fighter compared to both EndingWalker or Momochi, no ill will towards Kazunoko Ofcourse, heâs infinitely better at the game than me.
